I'd agree, how does the Club move forward should be the question can an agreement be forged with Wasps?

Either SISU believe there is a way, which at some point has to involve investment, or they don't in which case they will ditch the club

Do you not think a change of owner's could be progress in itself? Obviously it could mean out of the frying pan into the fire as Portsmouth fan's know all too well but it doesn't have too.

Who would take us over now anyway? The incentive for any prospective owner was getting a piece of the Ricoh and now that's gone.

Not by having some crazy idea about a new stadium that's for sure.
Certainly not with these owners anyway.
The only way forwards I see is we do the 4 years here, look to extend that, but at the same time look to trying to obtaining a joint partnership at the Ricoh with Wasps.
That should be the long term goal. There is also all the surrounding land that could prove profitable in the future too.

Can't see it happening unless it goes horribly wrong for Wasps over the next 4 years, at least we can focus on becoming an established league 1 club now alongside Oldham, Colchester, Crawley and Fleetwood.

Could Wasps flip it for a quick profit. The club is worthless without stadium ownership. Wasps could buy it if and when SISU walk away for next to nothing (buying a distressed business on the cheap, sound familiar?) then package it up with 50% of ACL and sell everything on for a nice profit while ensuring the football club and its associated incomes stick around. Unlikely but unless Wasps go bust something like that is about the best we can hope for.

its quite simple ... they get that bloke from block 15 to move into there offices and continuously shout FORWARD like he does at matches
First task Is to Sack off that loser Fisher ,as you all know I believe It's largely his Strategy we've been following ,Yes she's brought all the litigations but
His was the idea to distress IMO.
Then by the appointment of a respected local Business man as Chairman there may be a way to re-engage the wider fanbase .
am convinced his removal would add 4-5 K. to the gate ,again IMO.

I would imagine that their is a lot of under hand politics still being played out behind the scenes. Theirs too many ego's involved for their not to be, would Wasps want to get into any serious involvement with SISU with their track record. Who ever owns the club needs to be hand in hand with the Wasps to enable City to move forward, theirs no benefit on trying to go it alone and staying at the stadium. You have to get on board to get anything out of it, but SISU have always done their own thing. Real dialogue with out the threat of leaving and building a new stadium has to be the starting point, Fisher needs to move on as he has to many times alienated the very people who we need on side. Their is a future but not until SISU have gone.

Who knows. The only thing we know for certain is it's not going to happen with SISU. As far as I can see the only reason to not push for new owners is they could be as bad as SISU. They could also be better, let's face it that ain't going to be too difficult for any new owners.

I believe we are now in stage 3 of a well thought out strategy, first get back to the Ricoh, second sell the Ricoh, keep it away from the clutches of sisu and now third will hopefully be the big one ridding us of these incompetents running our club, that's Sepalla, Fisher, Waggott. Then we can move forward, until those have gone we go nowhere but backwards.

Agree a very long term rent deal and negotiate some access to F and B as part of it.
I think the clubs plan revolves around that crop of under 18's hence the short term contracts for all of our senior pros'
A new stadium is not viable.
My preferred option would be the consortium behind wasps takes CCFC off SISU's hands but I can't see it happening.

Agreed. That's the only way i can see us going. We will not progress without access to revenues and new owners, therefore we will continue to stagnate in league one for the foreseeable future.

I don't see how it goes further under Sisu, and I don't see it goes further under anybody else after what's happened recently to be quite honest. We moved to Northampton but hope remained because we all thought eventually common sense would prevail and we'd return which happened, what are we hoping for now? Short of Wasps going bust I don't see what future we have now. Sisu ain't going to build a ground; they'd probably never get planning permission off a Council with an agenda against them and they'd never come up with the money required anyway.
They'll always be a Coventry; too many care for there not to be, but I fear we'll have to start again right at the bottom. The whole thing has been totally rotten to the core for about about 15 - 20 years now; from ownership to onfield so maybe, sadly, starting the whole thing again from the bottom is our only hope.
