Finishing chances seem to be haunting us again.

We knew these last few games were tough but if we are to succeed under AT next season we must finish our chances and without King that could spell yet another bad year so I sincerely hope King stays and AT finds a plan B in games that gets points regardless of the attractive way we play.

Good luck to him though and here's for a good start to the campaign next season and he can go on and prove himself the way the likes of Paul Lambert has done at Norwich.

I'm optimistic but Westwood appears to have options elsewhere.

I agree was the close to the perfect performance imo just lacked the goal, there keeper pulled off some great saves. Reading hardly had a kick for long spells in this game, Reading up to a few games ago were looking at auto. People often say the championship is the hardest/ most competitive league to get out of but when you consider Reading could be going up you realise the quality of the league is not that great.

If we can add a few more players as well as keeping as many of the current squad I believe we can have a top 10 finish next season

Take a bow Sky Blues. That was as good as I have seen us play in I don't know how long. One tiny criticism. This passing game is an absolute joy but we do take one pass too many at times when the opportunity is there to get the ball in. Otherwise, fantanstic from all

The game against sheffield utd was exactly the same. But not many people were there to witness that.

I was at the Sheff U game and it was very different. We played it short, but at very high tempo. It was classic 442. The chances were hurried, wheras today our moves were more flowing and had more guile-epitomized by Sammys glorious passing, and a return to form (and fitness)? from Baker. And most importantly of all, Sheff U were hitting their low point in a terrible season. Reading are the toast of The Football League Show and the form team chasing promotion. Playing them off the park like that is a much greater achievement. Loved it, we are getting better and better at this style and will only improve under Thorn.
