Thinking of taking my dad to a match before the end of the season. Not done any form of hospitality for many seasons now.

He isn't very good with steps etc. Any recommendations for best value and also what discount do ST holders get?

The mill is quite good as it’s on ground level and you can walk straight into the seating area with no steps . Then just try and get an aisle as near the vomitary as possible.
Balcony bar is on 3rd floor but lift/escalators and the balcony only has a few rows so not many stairs
Most stairs are in club Coventry and they are steep but don’t think you will get in there this season anyway.

My dad is in a mobility scooter with limited ability to do steps. Our ST is in block 35. View is crap but it’s accessible with no steps other than a couple down to the seat. We do Balcony Bar a few times a year which is both accessible and a good view.

And what about lounge to seats?

From the Balcony Lounge there are no steps to the seats, there are places for wheelchairs and a seat for the carer.


And there's a lift to take you up to the Premier Lounge which is the Balcony Street Bar.

"The season ticket holder ‘discount’ is an upgrade offer. Should you wish to upgrade from your general admission season ticket seat to hospitality for a game, you will receive a £10 ‘discount’ against your hospitality package. As you won’t be using your seat, and it is non-transferrable, we will then release your seasonal seat for the game."

Really isn't worth getting the discount.

In the literal sense, yes. But it's nothing more than a token. I may as well not bother with the discount and treat some friends/family to my STs.

I know that Villa have 50% off some less glamourous games for a similar thing.

Said before @Sky Blue Pete i think it needs to be raised at one of your meetings with Doug. Its not worth it the £10 off. Doesnt tempt anyone

If they offered say, £35 off on a once per season basis youd get a lot more take up from ST holders having a game in corporate

They resell the ST seat anyway so are up financially anyway

Thing is games where they’re definitely going to sell the ST are likely also games they’re not having trouble selling hospitality.

They tend to struggle selling out hospitality 80% of the time in the championship. Premier league will be different of course

Yes, so I'd be better off buying the hospitality ticket at normal rate and then putting my STs on the exchange.

Think this is your answer tbh. They don't want us mere mortals in hospitality.

Going to get a lot worse if we go up, expect hospitality prices will go through the roof.

Nah it comes in the post. We put them on the exchange a week ago.

I don't know what Lounge you go in but in the Premier Lounge it's pretty full every game, get there late and you struggle to get a seat in the Premier Lounge.
