Would it be any more? Our biggest crowds in recent years have been Category A.

Bournemouth last season 25k was Cat A and there weren't many from the South Coast there.

With it being on sky I can see more casual supporters swerving it

It's a better view. Most grounds have more expensive seats in the half way line and are always more populated.

This, I was surprised back when I got my first season ticket that there was a flat rate for pricing. As you say the lower down and more central you are the steeper the price (normally).

Possibly but I think since being in the championship most games are available to watch at ease and nearly half have been available on sky/red button. A bit different to the days when one or two a season would be played.

I think the way forward is to categorise prices in different stands again.

Look at Yesterday's lionesses game. Some tickets were as cheap as £15 and others £30+.

Make the Telegraph stand £20-£25 every match and the main stand seats £30+.

Some people are happy to pay a premium for tickets and have the mone to do so. It gives people an option to pay for cheaper tickets in the North Stand every game.

Problem will be the away tickets.

If you do prices for parts of the stadium wouldn't singers corner have to become the most expensive given how it's the one that everyone seems to want to be in? Given it's also the most problematic area extra cost would be spent on the extra stewarding and policing that area requires.

Probably cause the stewards an even bigger headache as more of them would buy tickets elsewhere and attempt to sneak in, causing massive overcrowding.

Though it might help self-policing if you've paid an extra fiver for a seat there and someone just wanders in having paid a lot less.

I think the lower areas the view is quite poor as you can't see as much of the game, but you do feel a bit closer to the action.

Most expensive bit should be halfway line, around about level with the vomitories. Decent view and much more convenient,

Agreed, the prime veiw is about level with where you walk out of the concourse into the bowl itself. The bits with atmosphere always tend to be the cheap seats, behind the goal and corners (in most stadiums), ordinarily isn't an issue but our stewarding is so ott it's beyond a joke.

I actually think that's an approach they'll go for next year. Offer cheaper tickets behind the goal in a bid to attract the youth to move there.

It's what I'd do to try and move them. Also where I'd consider putting the safe standing should it ever be given approval.
Then match that with strict measures regarding going in the corner without a ticket and standing in any area other than designated standing to stop them buying the cheaper tickets then trying to move to the corner to be near the away fans.

People will always want to be next to the away fans. Shrewsbury added safe standing and yet their main rowdy section remained by the away fans.

Bristol City have a huge thread on their forum about how they want to move their singing section next to the away fans despite spending loads on safe standing at the opposite end.

I know they would, but we also have to accept that it causes a lot of problems and is restricting the number of seats available, so we make less revenue while having to spend more on policing it.

At HR you never had that problem in the area right next to the away fans in the north stand, as the vocal rowdy section was in the WT.

Anyone wishing for safe standing behind goals should consider that it can’t be properly achieved without including the corner sections. This is due to potentially impaired site lines in bowl shaped stadia; if we had four individual stands, the outcome would be different, but if you have standing only in the end sections, you effectively make the view from parts of the seated corner sections impossible.

Crowd looking at about 21,000 maximum.
I reckon 3 pm kick off, not on SKY and at decent prices and with Blunderland allowed the full away allocation it could have been 26000 +

Yeah, the only grounds I've seen with it have it in the corners specifically which would obviously be highly convenient at the CBS based on where those most likely stand already congregate

I guess you could potentially tier it in a sense? So the upper 15 rows or so in the North Stand, say row GG upwards from block 25 through to 33.

Really hoping for a win and a clean sheet.

2-0. A brace for Gyro

I would absolutely love it if we finished above them this season, especially if we snuck into the playoffs and they didn't. They have good support but are still a scumbag club.
