According to Covmad Gary Hoffman has stated that he will be meeting with the club this Friday!

Really hope this is true,Maybe Sisu are ready to go now and they've bought the meeting forward?

Same was said during the phone in on CWR by some who spoke to Hoffman during half time!

I really do hope so! If it's done quickly there may be some hope for us yet as we can't go on like this!

And he is telling the fans why exactly? This is really frustrating. I hope he and his consortium buy the club, I genuinely do, but until that happens all this being aired in public is doing nobody any good at all. I wish they would now put up or shut up. Hopefully Friday will be exactly that, but I fear this will drag on and I would rather that was behind closed doors.

Please please Hoff or any other madman with money he does'nt mind losing,I beg you with all my heart to come and save my once mighty and very proud club.I really don't mind if you don't know football that well but as long as you invest and tell us nothing but the truth we will all stand beside you and help you get us out of this truely awful mess.
Just be honest with us ,and we will be with you ,and with us all united ,we will work together to repair all the wrongs, and bring the club back to life again.

I saw Hoffman at Coventry station today, waiting for the train to blues. I asked him what was going on and he shrugged. He said he is meeting with Sisu this week (as has been said) and also said that he is vertually certain that they will NOT make a deal. He said that the best he can do is talk to them and see. But he said if they don't want to sell (which they don't) then there is nothing anyone can do.

he's a fan why shouldn't he be there? i doubt he was going round telling anyone who would listen there was a meeting planned. more likely someone asked him (which is going to be most fans first question if they spot him anywhere) and he told the truth - that already puts him ahead of SISU!

Just another Dhinsa now in my eyes. All talk no action. To be honest i'd rather he hadn't shown his face as the hope hurts more than anything else.

I do like how he is given a completely free ride in terms of what he says and promises, and how everything that went wrong when he was on the board was obviously other people's fault.

My feelings exactly.

I think that nothing will happen. SISU have a plan of thier own, whether we like it or not, and their going to stick to it. Unfortunately for us it means watching what we've got for the foreseeable future. All we can do is show our support to the team.

This is good news. Right now I din't care if GH has any money at all. All I want is for our club to be in the hands of someone who gives a shit as SISU clearly do not!

It is my fear that shitsu have their own plan which CCFC are almost irrelevant as a football team only as a business commodity to achieve an ends to a means no matter what the cost to CCFC . So if it's true that Hoffman expects no deal, then we had better be prepared for desperate times ahead

It's not just here, it's 'revealing' things like the nonsense about official letterheads - what would that do other than make SISU resent him for openly encouraging mockery?

There's little to be gained from him going public.

Cloughie, you are right desperate times ahead, but we are pretty prepared for them as its desperate times now!!!

Radio Commentary

I listened today to live commentary of the game on SBW whilst working from home (did not hear it all) and it seemed to me that the Brum and Cov. commentaries were taking place in the same box. Is that so and if so what the hell is going on?

SISI will sell if any would be buyer offers them the right deal and having invested as they say £30 million we know the price. Trouble is the more Hoffman and his crew pay the less will be spent on the team, where have we heard that before ?

Thing is though iv invested 1000s on my car on
Petrol, repairs, MOTs, services etc but I no when
I sell it I'm not going to get that money back, but accept I'll get a reduced price on what I purchased it for. A compromise is what will happen as it will cost them more in the long run! I just hope the Hoff doesn't let the fans down!

I am sure Hoffman and his crew have a plan and a limit pricewise. My fear is SISU are being awkward. They know Hoffman is fairly desperate to get hold of the club and get them out. We know SISU are getting by, by selling any asset they can and the owners, and they are the important ones, don't give a toss about Coventry City Football Club or where it ends up. Probably never been to the city let alone it's football club. Whatever the initial plan for the club has long since vanished. These are going to be hard to get out IMO.
