Think I heard Stuart Linell say HMRC refuse these in any situation, not just in our case

Maybe he can correct me if I misheard though

So does that mean the CVA could never be signed anyway even if ACL had agreed? genuine question

HMRC have a policy of opposing any Football CVA, in protest against the "Football Creditors Rule" that they oppose. It's a standard understood response, and for the value we are talking about here would have been sorted with payment in full on agreement of the other creditors after they have the opportunity to sign of to their own satisfaction and agenda. In the case of Rangers though, there was a massive number involved and there have been shenanigans in the payment avoidance, so they got spanked. It wasn't a material issue for us.

No they were irrelevant. If ACL had signed then that's over 75% and that's it. As for the crap that the revenue must know something they don't. They have a duty to reject these deals unlike local government.

I thought i heard it reported earlier, that if HMRC had voted for the CVA, it would have been passed...not that that was ever likely

Might be me being naive, but how did HMRC get a vote when Fisher has said all along that this is different to most Football Administrations as HMRC are being paid on time and in full?

Surely Timmy the Twat wouldn't lie would he?

I think there was some tax generated by Otium buying assets.

They only oppose it 'as their duty' when they are owed money, about £160,000 according to the admin details,

yet Honest tim yet again lied when he said they don't owe any outside creditors other than ACL

Yet some will hang on every word this man say's and think it is true,

Frankly I find it amazing some are so thick
