No, he doesn't play in Shipleys 'position' at all in this system.

Hiwula was played in a 4-2-3-1 as a wide-left, Shipley plays CM assisting the front man and bombing forward.

When Robins changed to this 5-2-2-1 formation Hiwula ain't had a look in.

He plays left of the central striker is the main point. Shipley is the closest in the current formation. Obviously different players would play different roles.

Shipley plays behind the striker, Hiwula in a 4-2-3-1 so again behind to the left, never left of central striker as that would be 3 up front, which we don't play.
