Reports saying that after Trumps first meeting with Obama he didn't realise how much work being president involved!
But in his first meeting with Mr Obama - a man he had previously called “the worst president ever” - Mr Trump was reportedly surprised by how much work the presidency involved.
The President-elect was “surprised by the scope” of what he would have to do in his new job, according to inside sources cited by the Wall Street Journal.
The newspaper also reported that Mr Trump was unaware he would have to replace the entire presidential staff upon taking office.
As a result, Mr Obama is expected to spend more time than usual guiding Mr Trump into the role.

Didn't Obama lose the popular vote? Of course it's democracy. It's separate states voting with seats in each state relating to population in that state.

Actually he didn't I checked - but 5 have. In the the uk it's not uncommon either but it's silly to cry foul all the time when results don't go your way.

I said 2008, but the DJT quote was 2012:

On election night 2012, he incorrectly tweeted that Mitt Romney had won the popular vote but lost to Barack Obama: "He lost the popular vote by a lot and won the election. We should have a revolution in this country!"

In a subsequent post from that night he added "the electoral college is a disaster for a democracy" and "the phoney electoral college made a laughing stock out of our nation".

Trump has settled his fraud cases out of court now instead of going to trial next month. A complete U turn apparently http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-38021820

This is not a serious president elect. He is a ducker and diver. If he can get away with something, he will do it. If not, ok pay up, better luck next time. A blagger - albeit a rich one.

Well Trump is a business man with many different ventures happening at the same time so the same rules do not apply I'm afraid.

No excuse for 'straight up fraud' and groping. Nice try though. He is a ducker and diver and a blagger - maybe ok for you as he is a business man, but that is not the qualification for the leader of the free world. The USA is not a business. Other rules do apply when you are president elect of the USA.

The independent tax policy centre ran the numbers of the two candidates.

Trumps plans $6.2 trillion in tax cuts with 47% of all cuts in 2017 going to the top 1%. That compares to Clinton’s plans which would have increased taxes by $1.4 trillion 92% of the increase in 2017 extracted from the 1%.

Don't think those who felt the establishment were ignoring them are going to do well under Trump.

A 'post truth' president elect. Those forgotten people will still love him and even defend him. His propaganda minister, Bannon, will sell them a good story and they will believe him and chant 'USA, USA, USA' at his rallies.

The muslims, gays and liberals will be hammered and blamed if the forgotten people are not better off.

Trumps construction friends will enjoy the boom whilst it lasts - as will anyone employed by them. The fun starts with the maths... tax cuts and at the same time more infrastructure investment.... by which time his presidency will be up..

This is all speculation.

He's been elected. Let him do his job for at least a few months before slating him.

Bill Clinton was much much worse. And it's common knowledge that JFK had naked pool orgies right in the White House and an underground passageway where he smuggled in his women on the side. Trump is nothing in comparison.

He just settled on the "straight up fraud" case - 25 million. The case which he had previously said he would win and which his lawyers still claim he would have won if it went to court.

I think his choice of Vice President, strategist and attorney general already give points to slate him about.

His childish tweets, including the latest about the actors asking for protection of diversity being asked to apologise for voicing their fears politely to his "great" Vice President, are also points to slate him on. But, as you say, he hasn't even started yet.....

I wouldn't say he is nothing..... he has been accused of having under age sex at wild parties amongst a whole row of other gropes. Let's see what happens to the accusations now.... and to the accusers..

He hasn't got to the White House yet..... and yes Clinton was worse in that respect - allegedly

If it was straight up fraud he'd be arrested and charged. A business venture failed and he's done the decent thing and settled. I can't see the issue here.

Trump talks a lot of shit, that's undeniable but to suggest he's some kind of rampant law breaker is the stuff of fantasy.

He said he would never settle. 25 million dollars stopped the fraud accusations. Make of that what you will. I doubt that he generously handed over 25 million dollars just to do 'the decent thing'.

If what you say about JFK is correct you'd have to say that was consensual. Groping a woman is not consensual. You are right when you say Trump is nothing in comparison, not sure you meant it in the right way.
