No - I had to look it up. I thought SNUS was a computer console from the 90's

Technically he has. As Snus is banned in the EU.

He has brought the club in to disrepute by trying to be billy big bollocks.

I can't see him winning back the majority of fans after what he said. So maybe it would be best if he finds a new club.

I feel there is a slight divide on this topic with valid points detailed on both sides. However, in my view he has to go. In any other place of work, if you were found to be making such negative comments about the business you work in you would be very fortunate to avoid the sack. Hickman realistically is comparable to an apprentice in an 'everyday' business; so lets say if an apprentice (regardless of their ability I might add) brought the business into disrepute by pissing off hundreds, perhaps thousands of its own clients what do you think the outcome would be? There's no question he or she would be let go in a heartbeat.

Being a full time footballer isn't exactly your average job though - which is why his comments shouldn't be taken lightly - even more so perhaps than if he was in an 'average' job. Given how the world is becoming smaller with social media and other forms of communication they have a duty to act in a certain way because of their following. People may disagree with me on that but unfortunately that's part and parcel of being a footballer in my eyes and if they cannot handle that aspect of it then they shouldn't be a footballer, regardless of their age. Yes, Hickman is a human being and as he's young he will certainly make mistakes, but we as a club are experiencing one our darkest periods (yet again) and we need the players to understand what it means that we're playing at St. Andrews as its clear there are some that are failing to grasp the seriousness of our situation. Due to this reason it's of my opinion that an example should be made of Hickman. Moving to St. Andrews isn't a laughing matter for me and I'm sure it's not a laughing matter for anyone else either. So, when a player says he doesn't care then that's an automatic red card for me to be honest as we need players that care more than ever now. He's tarnished the club that has given him his life with his comments and I personally want action to be taken.

Essentially powdered tobacco in little bags that you insert between your gums and lips. Same kick as smoking without the lung impact. Banned in the EU except for Sweden. Very popular in the Nordic countries and with ice hockey players.

It's a form of chewing tobacco which comes in tea bag like pouches
It's banned in the UK to sell but not to take
Lots of footballers use it
It's not a banned substance in sport as it's not performance enhancing

Don't players play matches with Snus under their lip? Surely it shouldn't send his jaw on it's own adventure just from that?

Not snuff, you can get that in tobacconists but wouldn't want to put it in your mouth. Imagine the stuff you get in america that they spit into buckets but in a little bag.

Reminds me of Roy O'Donovan's wife and her "thanks for paying our mortgage" comments when he was getting slagged off for being rubbish. A few weeks ago I was watching BT Sport on a Saturday morning and he was playing for some Australian team.

Anyway, not sure why we're on about snus or snuff, it's clearly a bag of sniff that he's rubbing around his gums. It's Ibiza though so it'll be about 0.1g pure and probably won't even show up on a drug test by the time he's home.

I agree. However, where you mention about him pissing off hundreds or thouands of it's own employees, I think you meant 'clients'.

Also being a footballer they're people that youngsters want to idolise and emulate - you can't have that. And as I said before, it becomes a very stark warning to others coming through the youth system

Sorry yeah I meant clients. An example needs to be made otherwise as you say how does this look for future graduates coming through the system if nothing is done about it? It gives them a free pass to say what they want and act the way they want.

If he hadn't said "fuck Cov" in the middle of all the other ramblings, he's have got a bit of stick for giving it 'large', but nothing more of it. Are we really not better than hanging a whole career out on that? He'll have to work doubly hard to prove himself, needs to apologise, to the fans, the club, Robins and his team mates and mean it - really contrite. A 2 week wages fine, bit of additional community work for the club and that should be the end of it imo.

Also, to all those slagging him off and I imagine knowing the facebook frothers will have been abusive and aggressive (despite them all having likely done similar in the past), they probably need to think who his mates are, having been at the club for years. His mates will be many of our other players in and around the first team. What are they thinking? One mistake and this is how everyone reacts? Why should I show loyalty to them? You only have to see some of the vitriol online and even in the stands towards some of our own home grown players like Shipley or Burge when they make a clanger.

In the modern world everyone needs to think a bit more what they post both players and fans. I've posted stuff I've regretted, I'm sure we all have, but it's there forever. More understandable if not excusable for dinosaurs like me, but I'm also amazed those of his age that have been brought up in the age of social media being about, aren't more streetwise and savvy and that they've not been coached about such matters by the club.

He's meant to be a professional athlete and if he has taken a class "A" substance this will show up in a hair sample test over the next few months. So, he could incur a ban from playing next season.
Given his attitude and total lack of professionalism and negative lifestyle, I question if we would want him in the training environment with other young players.

Just watched the full one again.

I like how he thinks the girl selling shots has been "hassling him" all day as if she wants to shag him, then says he has bought loads of shots off her.

Obviously the woman selling gas and electric in the Ricoh Tesco the other day wanted to shag me, as did the RAC man who asks me every time I go past. I will know for next time though and make sure I am ready.

He was forced into making the video by Wasps and the council. They will now spend the next ten years investigating it until this is proven. They want Jak Hickman to stay, but can easily develop a new one within a few years
