Heroes Welcome for Wrexham game (6 Viewers)

Putting this out there I would imagine for the Wrexham game, but assuming the best happens and we secure promotion (and hopefully the title) it would be nice on the last home game of the season to give the players a heroes welcome on arrival at the stadium.

I recall seeing Ipswich fans at the end of their promotion season lining the road to the stadium with smoke bombs etc welcoming the players to the stadium, very much Liverpool-esque on big champions league nights.

Given what these players have achieved, would be great to arrange something similar for the Wrexham match. I know players often arrive by car but if we can liase with the club somehow I’m sure they could arrive by coach for that game. Would be good to have fans lined down the side road where the opposition players coach arrives, down to the club shop area.

I’m terrible at organising so if anyone wants to take this on feel free. I know there will be some who will no doubt be cringing at the idea because they can’t bear to see people enjoying themselves. But I think we as fans deserve it, but more so the players and coaches deserve it.

Nice idea but not really sure how it will work?

The players arrive in dribs and drabs as opposed to on a team bus and where does everyone stand? Alongside the A444?

Isn't @Sky Blue Pete the liaison officer of sky blue talk? He might help.

I remember something like this outside the Notts County ground before the play off semi final. I don’t know if it was planned. The noise made the hairs stand up on the back of my neck and I went inside convinced we would win.

Would love to see Disney FC setting their player in column applauding city before the game starts
