Houchens Head; said:ps. Can't understand the thread title? HERESEY? WTF is that all about?
I can't wait for the next 30 years for people to have their username with "13" in it.
I see the whole competition as a tinpot cup which, even last season, never crossed our minds.
CJ is a big fan - got all their records.
I never said that I didn't want us to win - just that I don't care that much.
*You're* 24 years old - didn't they teach you grammar at school?
Also, thought it was hearsay not heresey?
A bit narrow minded too think of this cup is a waste of time, for the club this could be very important not only now but it could provide the next or new generation of fan. If we get there and we see thousands of young kids wearing shirts, signing song and jumping around with excitement at the prospect of seeing the team lift a cup would be invaluable in our current situation.
We need stability off the field, growth in fan base and confidence on the pitch to bring us to a stronger position to challenge not only in this league but the ones above.... I want to win every game but the most important thing now is to keep Robins, keep gaining interest and build on what already has got us all back talking about the club..
I care more about the JPT than the FA and League cup, why? We're don't stand a chance in any of them (fair to Bradford, but it was a phluke) but we can actually win the JPT, day out in Wembley, maybe 40k CCFC fans, possibly seeing Baker lift a trophy?
I bet Man U fans don't care about the League Cup, until they get to the final.
Bradford have not relied on luck so it isn't a fluke. Just rare
They got through (at least) 2 rounds on pens, where it is a lottery.
Had it been the FA Cup, I think they would've got smashed by Arsenal and probably Wigan as well...

So did we in the JPT. We must be fluked it too then.
We did in some ways...
Take it to a replay though, I think we'd have Burton, but not sure v Sheff U.
Bradford beat Villa over 2 legs, held a near full strength Arsenal team for 2 hours, and held Wigan just the same. For a bottom tier side to do that is outstanding and can't be done with luck alone.
