What difference does it make if it was a madman with an axe or a terrorist with an axe?

The fact remains that if he hadn't been granted so-called 'political asylum' there would be nine less victims in Germany.

My views on most things as many of you will have noted, are pretty right wing, but ignorant bigoted dickheads like tommy Robinson are clearly too stupid to realise that iresponsible posts like that have the opposite effect and invalidate sensible fair argument.

So all muslims with mental health issues are now terrorists? I haven't seen you labelling white Christian Americans murdering innocent people as terrorists?

America has a massive issue with white mentalists waving guns around, however we are in europe, and that's focal point.

We have enough white European people setting fire to, or attacking refugee centres in Germany.

They perceive muslims to be a threat and followers of a bad religion. Similar to how muslim extremists perceive Christians.

Religion can cause psychological problems- or maybe the extremist version is practiced by people who already have psychological problems.

Islam doesn't have a monopoly of idiots who believe that by causing grief to others they are doing some god's work.

I love you ccfl, but you might be out your depth pal.

Go back to bumming Mowbray :D

Didn't you say positive things about Tommy Robinson a while back?

As long as people still follow him or take an interest in him, he will continue to post bullshit.

Who knows, if he posts enough bullshit, he may be offered a job by Breitbart or Infowars. Then the POTUS will use him as a more reliable source than MSM.

Think they refused to allow a Türkish minister into the Turkish consulate.
That does not explain the reason for armed police.

Pretty strong decision. There was a reaction expected.
Anyway, think I'll be able to say told you so next year.
Looks like its failed. Pity, so Erdogan's autocratic Islamist agenda will continue to destroy the legacy of the secular democratic Ataturk. Next step President for life?

Police saying there is no indication of terrorist motive. Have detained a 36 year old from the former Yugoslavia with a history of mental health problems. Which can of course be translated to

Ah Steve Brown's mate. Sorry the person he asked about the march in Brum. Not mate, obviously.

You've picked the two highlights of right wing extremiem in the last 5 years.

They were both terrible events but your deflecting away the problem which is on a scale not even comparable to this.

civilian casulties from wars in the ME, refugee centres being burned down? major powers fighting proxy wars in Syria? Refugees not being allowed into some countries?

More than one problem out there.

Agree, western foreign policy has been an issue. However:

- Migrants have been burning down their own centres
- Since Merkel opened the gates there have been many attacks and an increase in crime from migrants
- Genuine refugees are being overlooked due to opportunists (migrants) posing as refugees.

In fact on that last point I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere that 80% of 'refugee's' now coming in would not have qualified for refugee status before that policy came in.

and I'm not saying there isn't issues with some right wing attitudes for the record, I just think it's ridiculous that the left are playing smoke and mirrors with something that is so blatantly a problem.

Migrants burning their own refugee centres: yes. A couple. German attacks on refugee centers much more.

Increase in crime: pickpocketing etc.. Yes. In general crime figures for other crimes stable or going down. Increase in right wing violence and attacks on refugee centres dramatically increased.

Don't know about the amount of people posing as refugees. Suspect that people from the Maghreb are not refugees. Lot of pressure being put on to get these countries to take their failed asylum seekers and convicted criminals back.

We'll probably have to agree to disagree for the sake of other people's sanity on this forum.

I don't think I can agree on a chunk above, so it's probably best!

I think the last point is key though. If it was just genuine refugee's coming in, attitudes towards it would be a lot more positive. That also means less crime for me to worry about, and less right wing nutters for you to worry about ;).
