Is he better than what we have, that’s the point. Unless he comes straight into the team like Thomas did last season don’t see the point. Haven’t seen a lot of Westbrooke I’d say he was an eight out of ten v Southend, six out of ten v Bolton.

Think that’s very harsh on Westbrooke might be wrong but I think Southend was his first full first team game where he played 90 minutes, fucking hell he scored the winner.you are entitled to your view it’s rather a knee jerk imo your view though is typical though.If we are not wanting to challenge the top 10 then yes, let him develop. He is a very average league one player who is a step down from Bayliss. A midfield including Shipley and Westbrooke is a mid table midfield at best....
Not seen a competitive Allen yet but we are short of quality depth in midfield, especially from a creative point of view.
