Its mentioned on the @NiiLampteyShow podcast so hopefully will drum up more support from their thousands of listeners, I won't stop saying thank you to all who have donated so far, it is amazing and hopefully, we can make someone smile very soon.
Thank you

As you all smashed the initial target set then I have moved it upwards to still encourage others, have moved it to £1,500 which could help out 4 sets inc booking fees :-(

Hi all,
I'm a regular onlooker here, I used to be fairly active with posts etc. I tried to get to as many games as I could last season with my five year old son, although towards the latter half, finances were dwindling and it became difficult, ending in disappointment for my son again with me not being able to afford Wembley for the second year running.
My relationship with my sons' mother has recently ended and am now living on my own, so obviously more outgoing from my own income (Not very high due to being a carer - low wages). Not only that, the time I get to spend with my kids is just so much more valuable, as it isn't as frequent.

Anyway I'm not here to beg, just wanted to flag up my interest in tickets or what have you, as I just know I'm going to struggle massively to get my son to matches this coming season.
Hope you're all doing well.

Dan

Hi mate, sorry to hear about your situation. Promise me if we get to Wembley again (not that far fetched) you’ll post up and give us a chance to make sure you and your lad get there.

Gutted that your son has missed Wembley twice. Seriously if it happens again any time soon, speak up and I will chip in towards the costs, and I am sure based on this thread alone that others would as well. Just speaking up in this thread takes a lot of guts.

I don't know how they are going to decide who gets the tickets here (half decided by the forum, half decided by the club?), but I hope that your name is in the hat. If you don't get it then I'd love to buy your son a JSB membership then any time that you do go it will be free to take him along with you. Drop me a message once it has been decided.

I don’t know, realistically I am waiting for the club to come back to me, I am away camping this weekend and was going to see how things stood next week and see if they have come back to me then.
Probably worth keeping open until payday to see how things snowball. It’s been less than half a week and been amazing so far.

There have been times recently, especially at away games, when I have been embarrassed by some of our supporters and seriously considered not going again.

Then you get something like this to prove what a great bunch the majority are to show that you can genuinely be proud to be part of the SBA

Quick update for all.

Senior individuals at the club contacted me today and confirmed that they would honour the early bird prices. This would be from £299 for an adult and the £25 if a junior JSB. They have also generously offered to provide an additional ST and JSB package to whatever we can raise and fund. They have said to get in touch with Shelagh in the office on this.

To date, we have enough for just over 3 sets of Adult + JSB, in addition to the clubs donation takes us to 4 sets. Another £200 would enable us to make it 5 sets of parent & child combinations which would be fantastic.

I am away camping for the next few days so I suggest we leave open as some fans have contacted and asked if it can stay open until pay day.
I would like to propose that I liaise then with Nick and others on this forum on how best to move this forward with individuals.
Initial view on this would be:
Group from here to receive nominations
Decision made
Contact details passed to the club for issue of tickets etc
I will transfer the fund direct to CCFC for those tickets

This way, all of you can be assured that there is nothing being gained by any individual or funding my own ticket or anything not appropriate.

So please continue to donate, lets really make this double digits with people we can help.

Finally, thank you Nick, SBT, all of you for allowing this to happen, and CCFC for throwing in the additional tickets and early prices. I genuinely believe this wouldn't have happened without the key people being involved at the club on this

You are all very truly generous individuals and an amazing response.

Further donations can still be made, link below

Good news that the club will throw one in as well.

I agree that if people know others to get in touch with you via PM to let you know their story etc (Maybe not something they want to publicly share) and then get an idea who it would really make a massive difference to.

Hopefully there can be potentially at least 4 or 5 parents able to take their kids to football next season where they could only have wished for it otherwise and 4 or 5 kids being over the moon about going to see their heroes (well, Michael Doyle) every week.

Yep, no point plastering it all over the internet if they have struggles of any sort etc but it would be good to hear from them as to how it made a difference

Donation from Sean Flynn - the one and only ex city player, Clays next surely?
With the clubs donation and the flow of fans donations tonight then I think we are at 5 adults and 5 JSB’s.

Brilliant, fantastic, and frankly unbelievable. Hopefully others may pick up the observer article and still listen to this weeks Podcast from the guys @NiiLampteyShow and we make it to a few more.

Will be setting up the nominations next week so we can start to move this on.

Thank you

It would be nice if it was someone who has previously committed but currently having a hard time of it rather than those who've never put anything to the club and suddenly interested in a freebie, but I certainly don't envy you having to decide the recipients as I'm sure you'll get many worthy requests and can only really take their stories at face value.

It would be nice if the club could do a 1-for-1 matching scheme. Seems a bit stingy to only offer 1 pair of STs. After all the club is also benefiting from income they wouldn't otherwise have had.
