Fair play to him! Shipley did last year too.

Wow, Saturday morning just exploded, we have smashed through last years total, what an amazing start and any publicity like talk sport etc can only help raise some funds to help out. Please don’t be shy in putting it out there to everyone, you can share on Facebook/Twitter from the page itself.

Can I ask that people start nominating so the volunteers from here can read and then I can get on with buying them, we really want to find people to help out, also any local charities where they may benefit from this.

Would be lovely to get a few ex players donating, we will keep tweeting them.

Every amount really does make a difference

Thank you all
MMJ

In all seriousness it might be nice to offer some travel packages out of the funds for done who are considering buying a season ticket but can't afford ticket and travel. Could help it go a bit further.

Which reminds me Harry... do you want a regular Baxi Taxi next season? Taking dad and Amelia so can get you on the way, other than evening games which will be a bit of a rush. L&W running coaches too but we'd be first pick up last drop off and more expensive with 3 tickets than fuel.

Question? Only £110 off target, happy if I increase it with some people committed to donating when paid st the end of the month? The money will all be to help others.

Some suggestions of match packages and help with travel, am open to ideas as you are the ones donating but always like to be true around the original purpose.

Once you set a target and achieve it you should just see how high you can get. This is because if you fall short in the second target it might take the shine off the achievement
If you go past it - you will only want to set another :)

Hi Rob. Happy to do the Baxi taxi bit and chip in, although I want to support the l&w coach bit too. Talk next Friday at the meeting (I'll be a bit late - school event!)

Mental. Would love to know if it's real. Maybe MMJ can see the email details and let us know with a yes or no

Don't share the email address MMJ. Some people would sue for Data Privacy etc. We know Joy is not litigious, so it would probably be OK - but best to be safe.

Thats why he can just say yes or no. doesn't have to tell us the email. I'm sure the real joy doesn't use a comical hotmail address. so should be pretty easy to spot.
