Evening All,

A very good friend of mine attended the Hill this afternoon for the fixture with Wolves and some idiot decided to steal his beloved Sky Blues Flag. For anyone who was on the hill today can you please look at the photo and try to remember if you saw anything.

The flag is also in the photo which will make it easier.

If you remember anything at all please note it on this thread, thanks.

Was last seen carrying a massive flag if that is what you mean Nick.

Could it have been Wolverhampton supporters?

I'd hate to insinuate that is what them, but yeah I am sure they had something to do with it.

Copied from another thread..

This is my first post on here so be gentle with me.
A lot of you guys will know my son Joey .He goes to almost every away game and has stood on the hill almost every game at N----------.Every game we take his flag. You have probably seen it its 8 foot wide says PLAY UP SKY BLUES and incorporates both the union and St georges flags. He had to go on his own today as I was working .At half time he phoned me to tell me the flag had been stolen from its usual spot on the metal fence by the hill.We are both gutted .I spent ages designing it to look different from any other flag and it was not a cheap printed job but hand made by barmey flags. It is Joeys number one possession and was a Christmas present from me and his mum the first Christmas after his younger brother died of cancer so you can imagine that it has immense sentimental value...We really want it back and a reward of £100 will given for information that leads to its recovery in its original conditionIf it does not turn up I will replace it in an even bigger size as a way of sticking two fingers up to the scumbags who took it.
PAUL.

I'd guess so Robbo was no one there ,wish I could help ,did;nt notice anyone hanging around at halftime and not many up there after, but from my vantage point i would'nt have been able to identify If I'd noticed .

I guess he's just going to have ro rely on concience of someone to get this back . Don't really see It being a City fan as they'd have nowhere to display It unless sad enough to hang It In their bedroom for their Sole enjoyment.:jerkit:

I wouldn't like to think it was a fellow City fan, trying to get on the Dingles Forum but they aren't approving my ID Set up request so I can post..

At half time most fans went to get a coffee and left al the police hanging around. The only people I could see were a group of younger Wolves fans and a couple of local lads who had turned up just before half time and were watching the game.
Who ever took the flag left the smaller one and actually cut the string to remove it, the police at this time were all sitting in there van having a break as not many around at half time. They said they did not see anything.
Real shame about the flag as it's been on the hill every home game.

Yes we all went to the pub at half time when we came back it was gone.

Shame but it is that distinctive if it turns up at another game we will spot it..

Heard about this on the radio. What is the point of pinching someone's property that they obviously cherish and spent a lot of money on. If it was a Cov fan, whats the point in nicking it? We'll obviously see it if you put it up in a game. Hope you find it Joey

Might be worth appealing for info on the Wolves fans forum? They can't all be tossers?

Real shame, hope it turns up undamaged.

Why do you feel that? Monty Python? Nothing like it.

Although the CCFC period of SISU ownership is a bit like a Terry Gilliam dystopia.

Anyway, I shouldn't deflect the thread, anyone found this banner yet?
