Have they learned nothing from the first sisu out banner, a PR disaster ? (2 Viewers)

The first banner a few weeks back was handled so badly we should have expected a more professional approach to removing any further banners at future matches. (according to health and safety of course)

But oh no, the the today's display by stewards and police just about sums up the sisu feelings towards the fans . Now I do not believe that there is any point singing sisu out, until we have a alternative buyer.....BUT

The crux of the matter is that if the banner had been left alone or handled low key there would have been little protests and singing of sisu out, but they managed to highlight the disgruntled fans dislike of sisu in full veiw of sky tv.

How much more can they alienate the fans?

Agreed it was such an idiotic decision for stewards and police to get involved. The anti SISU chants didn't gather any pace until the stewards got involved and the anger at the stewards was shown just by the chants becoming louder.
If they had not got involved I am confident the chants would not have been as loud or attracted as much attention.

Sky mentioned the protests, and hinted at "scenes we don't want to show you." All Sky actually showed was one "SISU OUT!" banner.

Regardless of the TV censorship, the crowd & the public in general will know what happened. Quite right what Cloughie says, exactly what I said to my pals as it all happened. For some reason the current SISU board seem to blunder from one PR disaster to another.

When I saw the banner I thought:
If people really cared for the team and players it would have said: Welcome Cody.

Ridiculous to start all that nonsense during a game, save it for HT/FT. I think the stewards handled it poorly, but it really is idiotic to refuse to get a fire certificate after what happened last time, they were just asking for it to be taken off them and cause a scene. Derby managed to get theirs OKed, why couldn't our fans.

Kinda hurts your argument when you intentionally break rules only to complain about them being enforced.

Edit: I'm impressed that SISU now control the police as well, does their power know no limits?

Just write " SISU OUT " on a White t- shirt . They can't take your t-shirt away or can they ?

Beware the Sisu enforcers !
