As a person of dual nationality, Japanese and British, must say with all the problems we have had Ricoh has, I believe, not once put pressure on ACL or the club to answer for the stadium standing empty. Maybe they don't know? I have contacted a few family members and friends to see if Ricoh know the stadium they sponsor is now as dorment as Mt Fuji. Anyway, on a second note my prayers were answered in many ways this week and I continually pray for Joy and that she sees the light.

Nosey parker here - was it anything CCFC related to that came true?

On a second and more serious point, let's hang on until November 5th and then Joy can see all the light she likes (with Tim Fisher in the middle!) ;)

Japan doesn't allow dual nationality. How did you manage it?
I didnt frigging tell them. I had been there 23 years and worked at the Ministry of Education for 3 years. They suggested I took Japanese nationalization. As Barry will tell you my Japanese is not as good as his but I went for it. I was ADVICED to give up my British nationality but nowadays its not essential UNLESS you want benefits. I still pay into the Japanese pension so I will get that. Two years ago the law changed so if you live abroad you can still claim your pension. I truly think this is a BIG option to get Ricoh to purchase the stadium. 10million is small change for them and they would have a central location in Britain and Europe. If we could get the City of Coventry interested in Japanese, or Asian sports it could be lucrative.

Who is "Barry" and can he say his name with a Japanese accent?

(BTW, no need to capitalise your spelling mistakes)

I heard several Japanese banks had shares in Ricoh, this is obviously affecting them.

Apparently.

Origami bank has folded.
Sumo bank has gone belly up.
Bonsai bank has cut back some of its branches.
Karoake bank has been put up for sale and is going for a song.

Analysts report that there is something fishy going on at Sushi Bank and staff there fear they may get a raw deal.
Meanwhile, shares in Kamikaze Bank have nose-dived and 500 jobs at Karate Bank will be chopped

I'm not sure if playing this on the jukebox in your local counts as achieving citizenship

He's a twin?! :D:thinking about:
, No Japan does allow 'dual' nationality but as MOST nationalities. or nations, including the UK, persist in doing is tell the person to forfeit one OR they lose the rights of the whole. When I took dual nationality in 2007 I lost the right to vote in the UK, but that changed in 2011. I have a lot of time for COAB he is a poster over the years who speaks alot of sense. Talking here about Smiles, cant believe he means from GMK, Smiles lost it a few years ago. about the time his daughter met some guy, and he became a bitter individual, THAT Smiles?

Totally correct Nick but there is difference between making a personal attack on a person and sticking up for oneself. I dont post on GMK because they allow people to personally attack people. Their admin and people in power do not possess your attitude and that is why they no longer have a voice. SAD days.
