The team has got stronger with each season - I thought Robins was short of one or two really good players that could have been the difference. The poor start to the league was not helpful obviously, and as they started to go through the places on the table I suspect everyone was drawing a sigh of relief. Then there were fans starting to dream and week by week Coventry clawed their way back up the table and made it to the play-offs. In previous seasons Coventry were sitting at the top of the table after a really good start to the league and fell short and instead they seemed to have finished strongly, are in very good form and three games away from the premiership.

If anything, Coventry are probably where they should be and Robins knows it, otherwise he probably wouldn't be here.

We’ve not done nothing yet. Save the celebrations for the 27th May.
Five years ago we were shipping 6 at home to Yeovil in the fourth tier and now we're potentially three games away from the Premier League. It's not job done yet but it's definitely not nothing

I'd say Sunderland go into the play offs nicely after a good win
Yep, Sunderland's tail will be up having sneaked in right at the end, and with a convincing win.

And this year, Wrexham, Norwich and Stoke. It's a funny old game.

Gyok v Sunderland at Wembley would be fun.
Have to say, it's weird how everyone seems to be ignoring the team that finished 3rd in the discussions.

After Norwich took us apart at Carrow Road, albeit we were under strength, I was convinced they would be play offs minimum. I still can't quite believe they've finished 13th. Huge under achievement. I'd be happy for us to go and take Sam McCallum and that prick Sargeant from them though :)

Yep. Luton are good at what they do, organised and work hard. They'll be a tough ask for anyone.

Personally Luton are the team I'd least like to play, as I think they play a way that we would struggle with a bit. Plus I feel like they can be a bit of a bogey team for us.

Must be a long time since we've only had one defeat in 17.

Haven't looked, but suspect it might be the end of the curtailed L1 promotion season?

Just looked 18 games in that season (if you don't count the drawn game v Blues - lost on pens) as a defeat.

If we beat/draw with Boro on Sunday, that would match it - an omen, perhaps?

It’s an achievement, but not worthy of a celebration, yet.

Right! It's finally sunk in! I'm not sure I will make Wembley this time as I'm supposed to be at a birthday BBQ (have been given a pass out of it) and I doubt tickets will make general sale but it has finally sunk in! 🤣

I was lucky to watch every single one of our years in top flight football and not for one moment did I think we'd get the opportunity to return.
We've had to suffer the bad times in the past to enjoy today's good times and whatever happens next week I like many many thousands will I'm sure, look to the heavens and our thoughts will be with our lost loved ones that will be forever Sky Blue.
Days like next Saturday don't come around very often for Coventry City.

100% not for me. It seems just a few short years ago we were a laughing stock, only in the headlines for bad news. What has been achieved is really unbelievable and something i'd never thought i would see. The Premier League is a dream for every football fan in the world, we are actually close. Very difficult to fathom. Roll on Sunday.
Really cant and wont think beyond the final. I'm not a sucker for punishment. Mind does wonder.

Still surreal for me
When we went down to league 2.

I said to my son this is rock bottom and we are going to stick with this club all the way and do the football league 92 together all the way back up.Had an incredible 5 years doing 60 plus away away grounds so far.

Accumumating 1500 points along the way. Been an epic journey
Watching us lose at Accy /morecambe/plymouth/ Exeter.

We will never play you again! I hope.

Dark days, I remember being 4 0 down at half time at Plymouth.... was the worst.
