100% not for me. It seems just a few short years ago we were a laughing stock, only in the headlines for bad news. What has been achieved is really unbelievable and something i'd never thought i would see. The Premier League is a dream for every football fan in the world, we are actually close. Very difficult to fathom. Roll on Sunday.

We’ve not done nothing yet. Save the celebrations for the 27th May.
slap my tits and call me colin, but i don't really care what happens tis season. This club is on a proper trajectory and it's only a matter of time until we're back where we belong. To be fair it doesn't all hinge on us being in the PL, im just fucking made up that we're a rproper team again.

It does seem weird. Beat Middlesbrough over 2 legs then either Luton or Sunderland at Wembley and we're finally back. Glad the usual play off suspects aren't there, these are all beatable.

I do think if they play their absolute maximum they’ll beat us over two legs

we’ll definitely have to take our chances on the counter

It won't sink in for a few days.

It is just 9 years ago since this article. Coventry City fans deserve better than watching their team from a hill | Daniel Taylor

In the last 10 years we've:

Been relegated from the Championship to League 1.

Played home games in Northampton, where fans stood on a hill in the rain.

Relegated to League 2.

Played home games in Birmingham.

Played a home match in Burton.

Whatever happens in the next few weeks, enjoy it. Enjoy next season in either the Championship with bigger crowds or the Premier League.

They do deserve better than that and I can tell you now , 2 of those fans from the hill were sat near me today @Broken Hearted Sky Blue and @letsallsingtogether and when hamer scored there was a tear in a couple of eyes ... we've done it boys , we're a football club again 🩵

Relieved once the Blackburn result was confirmed although we did enough to seal our place. Not getting excited as we’ve got a real chance to make that final. So the hard work begins now to get there.

Just got back an hour ago and we were just like Del Boy and Rodney after the auction when we got back. Hell yes, it’s sunk in and now it’s time to go to war and get promoted

Any one know how much a life size bronze statue would cost?

Well I say life size, but probably only 5 foot 😁

Hasn’t sunk in here yet. Doubt it will until Sunday. What a season it’s been.

Sunk in weeks ago for me. We're the form side of the playoffs. Only 1 defeat in the last 17 games now 👏 Called both draws as 1-1 and both home wins. Said 69 points should be enough. It would have been but we made sure 😁

Now it gets serious. 4 points off Middlesbrough in the league. We have the beating of them. Just need to keep it going. We have nothing to fear as long as everyone keeps fit for another 3 games. Would prefer Luton in the final but Sunderland will do.

Not sunk in, don't know how to feel.

Next season we're either going to be PL, or a Championship team pushing for promotion.

Either way this is best shape we've been in for at least 35 years.

We're a proper club again

There is no other club in the world I would rather support

Feel proper blessed to be a City fan last six years TBH. So many fans never get a period like this for their club. Jealous of the oldies who have had two now!

Still not quite sunk in, and still find all this quite unbelievable really. It really doesn't feel that long ago we were losing 6-2 at home to Yeovil in League 2 and there is no way I would have thought we be in the Championship play offs 5 years later.

Wouldn't fancy being a Millwall fan right now. Imagine this place if we had been 3-1 up and lost, People would be on suicide watch...

Just popped over to their forum.

They seem remarkably sanguine, but this comment really made me chuckle.
