Coventry City: Champions.

Has a nice ring to it. Fully deserved, only Arsenal had an equal or better unbeaten run in English Football. Well done Mark Robins and everyone else at CCFC.

£5 million more coming in next season from higher solidarity and annual payments, plus more in televised games. Winning the league doesn't carry much prize money

I wonder how many of our games will be televised next season if it isn't shortened? Does it depend on the size of your club or does every team have so many each
designated by Sky?

Promoted clubs do usually get a fair chunk, at least until they start doing badly anyway.

Absolutely buzzing here! Just had my City shirt on for my last work call of the day. Was with my boss, who is based in Austin, Texas. He was last over in Sept 2019, so took him to our game vs Blackpool. He loved it and vowed there and then to follow us from now on (despite a faux pas of walking into the ladies toilets at half time!)

Would’ve been quicker for him to type out those that voted to keep them in !!!

Every club looked after their own interests. Understandable

After being made redundant last week, to say I've been under the weather would be putting it mildly. I really needed this today, misses is on her way back from the shop with some fizz. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!! PUSB

What the hell?

BBC news.

Covered Port Vale and Northampton and Pompey, but then showed Rotherham opening a bottle of champagne (chairman and manager?) and then said "they were going up".

No mention of us at all

TalkSPORT all day have been obsessed with the relegation side of things, almost zero mention of those who did well enough to get promoted.

Really? Shocking if true. The BBC News website story headlines with a photo of the hero’s in sexy two tone.

Walking out of that Sunderland game at SA after a very professional performance, it felt like we had what it took to keep going. As a city fan, I was expecting us to implode but we have been superb all season. Over the moon!

Honestly struggling to articulate how proud I am of this club and this team. The absolute dejection felt when we were relegated in 2017, yet that JPT trophy win, although a tinpot competition, just felt like that bit of defiance needed to go forward. We will never be able to thank Robins and his team enough for this, they deserve every plaudit they get. Shame we can't all celebrate together but the achievement is not diminished. Unreal.

I think that trip to Wembley and that win was the turning point. The worst season we’ve ever had as a club, four manage, certain relegation yet over 40 thousand fans turned out and caused one hell of a racket that day. That was the start of something!
