Additionally:

To win League outright:

Sheff U: 6/1
MKD: 8/1
Swindon: 9/1
CCFC: 12/1

To get promotion:

Sheff U: 7/4
MKD: 9/4
Swindon: 5/2
PNE: 4/1
CCFC: 100/30

Conclusion: despite all recent signings no major shift in bookies expectations - Good or Bad ???

Im surprised Doncaster are longer odds. Half fancy them myself.

The odds are always pure guesswork, some teams will really struggle (hopefulyl not us0 and there will be rank outsiders who surprise everyone.

I dont even think Yeovil are going to be as bad as indicated. Nowhere near promotion, but i think they may be safe midtable.

odds are also heavily influenced by the amount of money/punters backing them - we have one of the top 2-3 largest following and therefore more punters willing to stick a cheeky tenner on it, which will shorten the odds.

This is a handicap list. They may move the handicap points with heavy betting but the odds won't change - the idea of a handicap is a level playing field where all teams have a 23/1 chance (less the bookies edge so will probably be offering apprx 20/1).

Pompey btw have a -10 start so they are effectively saying thjey get 22 and we get 7. What that means is that they think they will gain 5 points (+ deduction) less than us over the course of the season
