Good shout and they have good players to bargain for too.
Still want him to stop 12 months though.

Don't want him to go to Burnley really, a recent addition to my disliked clubs list. Seem to play everything out in the media and, i don't generally look at what other football fans think on social media, but the bits i have seen their fans are complete bellends. Depressing little club, think he can do better if he leaves.

Their fans are just so irritating. I don’t know why they seem to think they’re a massive club.

Up there with Sunderland for most disliked for me, apart from the obvious ones like Leicester etc.

This was the first golf pun. What followed were dozens of piss poor attempts to beat its beautiful simplicity.

If Gus was sold to Brighton for say....£15m, then by this time next year Chelsea will be buying him for £70m. Best make sure we've got a significant sell on deal.

The more I think about it, the more I think he stays for the season with us, runs his contract down and joins Feyenoord on a free next summer. He wants to play there and he has suggested the only reason was Feyenoord couldn't justify paying the money for him when they let him leave for so little.

Would love for him to stay and be the star of the team for the next 10 years, but I'm coming round to the idea of just getting it decided one way or the other, to allow us to rebuild further.
I think this could happen but would Gus really put in the same sort of effort and risk injuring himself prior to a big move to a club he wants to play for?

Draw a line under this story now, it was always a long shot ‘but I think it’s sure to fade.

If he won’t sign get him sold for £12-15m and let’s get the rebuild started.

If Leeds come in for Hamer, £14m and Charlie Cresswell would be nice.

We have to accept that Hamer will leave at some point, if we can make a healthy profit and build for our future I have no qualms in doing so, it’s the first summer in a while we are spending money on multiple players and it’s refreshing to see.

Hamer is great, but we will get over it.

To lose him and having him playing against us would be to much to bear.

Agreed he's got to go abroad or to the Prem. Madness to sell him to Leeds or Leicester

Apparently now Notts Forest want him. Would there be anyone you’d take in exchange? Lewis O’Brien? Josh Bowler? Panzo?

They've been one of the teams linked in the papers for a while. Wouldn't read too much into it... if he does go I'd probably just want the cash. The forum seems a little obsessed with Bowler (almost Twine-like) not even sure he's that good tbh.

When we played Blackpool before he got sold to Notts Forest, Bowler was fantastic I thought, by far their best player, from that moment I took a liking to him

He didn’t start every match at Blackpool during his loan last season …

He was rubbish at Blackpool last season, looked nothing like the player from the season before.

This is the problem, i think many from the forum got a bit of a boner for him from that game. I'd be looking for better now, he's not exactly kicked on.

Robins and co will have known for a long time we were likely to lose Hamer this window well have a massive list of potential replacements.

I want us to keep Hamer
Would only consider letting Hamer move on if Chris Willock comes this way, ideally have both makes out 25/1 promotion odds very tempting.

You can get 10/11 on us to finish top half which seems like a massive price!!!!!

O'Brien but the wages he's on are no doubt significantly higher than our best offer to Hamer.

Is there any substance to the Willock rumours or is it based on wishful thinking after some of us said he'd be a great addition if he were to become available ? Genuine question

He apparently has an issue with QPR and his name was linked to us and some others, probably tripe but it hasn’t been denied so you never know. But what an addition he could be one of the best in the division imo.

Willock would be some signing and i don't think it needs 3 mill to get him. Sounds like he wants out and they expect him to go..

I agree, I’d love him to stay another season, but if he won’t sign for longer and we loose him on a free, that will be gutting. We’ve done that too many times in the past, and that’s part of the reason we have taken so long to progress

Burnley appear to be low balling Sunderland with Clarke and Millwall with Flemming too. Appears both have told them to get fucked.
