Not even he can carry a basket case. I hope he manages to impress but getting beaten every week is tough when your team mates are no longer motivated

Afraid the club couldnt offer him even a fair wage for a man of his talents.

And that's not even considering losing out on £14M upwards profit on him.

Not saying he was driven to Sheffield.

But theres alot of people going to make alot of money on this transfer.

Agent/Hamer/CCFC. Overall you can say it's right for everyone involved sadly.

First watched him in the friendly with Rangers and thought he looked great and extremely technically proficient. Didn't think he'd turn into the player that he was by the playoff final.

Good luck to him, recruitment team have their hands full bringing someone else in.

Get a sell on clause. Hope he does well in a poor team and then they sell him on with a season of Premier League football under his belt. Best case scenario

For me it was clear from very early on in his time here that he was a top quality player.

He should have a relegation clause for his own benefit and a sell on clause for us as security.

Are you his boyfriend or something?

Looking at this it’s now a fantastic turn out for us as a club . £15m or nothing so Hamer has done us a massive favour so thank you Gus this is the best possible outcome.
As for moving to Shitfield I’m not sure he will like the surrounding area , it’s damp and bleak at the best of times , the golf courses will close more often than not with the rain .
It will test him learning a new language. Top and bottom of it it’s a fucking shithole.

It was abundantly clear. He was a cut above from bute one. The way he was singing passes. The side footed goal vs Swansea to name but many moments. I think his vision was typified when in his early days first few games he almost scored from half way line saw goalie off the line and hit cross bar. Guys outrageous.

He has got better as our team has got better.

It was a joke.

Trolling? All this nonsense narrative of loving the club, the area, the family issues

Just nonsense isn’t it

I have no care about it - it’s what footballers do - move and maximise earnings when they can - surprise surprise

To make out his a saint and doing us a favour by not leaving for free.

Do me a favour

Time to move on.

Remember it’s the club we support, not individual players.

He’s made his decision, and he’s gone. I wish him well but apart from that we have to now consider him irrelevant to us

He makes a fair point though. People getting all teary because they thought he was bleeding sky blue blood. Came here, made a name pi55ed off and quite rightly so, fair play to him. Lets not be a bunch of fannies. We support those who want to play for us.

The nonsense is people like you making out it’s like we’ve lost Messi - you wanted to keep him and let him leave for nothing FFS!

Dublin- bigger loss
Keane - bigger loss
Gallagher - bigger loss
Gibson - massive loss
Wallace and Ferguson - chronic loss

So what you just move on - sing his song after 38 minutes - and I’m trolling

Seriously are people so fragile now we have to council them as Gus has fucked off to get more money

I’m not sure he does. People getting all ready because he was a massively popular player. I don’t think a PL move will change that for most. It’s mostly the same people who were sniping before who are doing it now.

Yes, not being a prick trying to wind everyone up and counselling people (unless you want to collect their bins?) are in fact the only two human emotional states. The two genders if you will.

Just for clarity then, were all in agreement that if we have a sell on, then we hope he does well, but if we don't then collectively hope he does his ACL on his debut pusb ⚽️⚽️

Sheffield isn't great it's no better and no worse than Cov and I very much doubt he'd live there but the surrounding countryside is outstandingly beautiful, I know where I'd want to be.

I like Hamer for his passion and skill. But now he is gone we can all move on. I won’t be clapping on 38… I will clap him if he walks on pitch prior to KO and then goes to Sheffield for their 3pm for his unveiling. After that forget about him until we either meet Sheffield in the FA Cup or next season in the championship

True I can’t have the insight to realise Dabo was worth £10 million but then suggest playing him as LWB and binning Maatsen so we can accommodate the excellent Todd Kane

It'll truly be a scene of undeniable emotion in the 38th minute as a song rings out for a Sheffield United player who's alive.
