We had this debate earlier.
You couldn't state anything that has been missed out or misquoted or was not factual in his article.
All you did was mention his boycott and his aledged social media status, which I couldn't give a monkeys about.
Maybe he has an angle or an agenda. Who knows and who cares.
However, don't criticise a well written peice that is factual.
We should all want the same thing on here.
Unfortunately it will not happen without the court case being dropped or enormous goodwill from Wasps.

I have pointed out something that has been missed out? The first couple of things that stood out without even opening news articles (because I did it a couple of days ago to correct Tony) when I was at the computer.

Who cares about the agendas behind things? They are usually telling as to what's going on to be fair.

Why wouldn't somebody care about an angle or the reasoning behind it? The approach shouldn't be side with other parties who have fucked us over. We keep seeing it time and time again and all it does is give them a free pass.

The council leader gloated about it a few weeks ago knowing full well be can say and do whatever.

As for the boycott stuff I mentioned, is it not relevant that somebody going to those lengths to push a certain agenda doesn't even realise the reason for him not going to see the club he supports doesn't exist?

Nick. It has nothing to do with the council anymore. The EFL have no mechanism in place to mediate or alter Wasps mindset.
It's all about Wasps and SISU coming to a commercial arrangement.
If my tenant was attempting to take me to court and I felt I was totally innocent, I wouldn't extend their lease. Would you ?

Trouble is many posters here and various articles live in the past, constantly dragging up the past ad infinitum that provides no clarity or solution going forward.

Perhaps people need to get angry to put pressure on not just the owners but the other parties. We are running out of time and on the face of it little is happening. It's about time it did.

And no that's not saying just concentrate on the owners but at this point how do you rally numbers if not starting with our owners. That's who the vast majority of fans blame primarily.

Is there other stuff going on, possibly even hopefully, because something has to change.

I thought the aim was first and foremost about ccfc having some where to play and still exist?

It's simple, list down the people who can directly change things and the people who can also influence this. Like it or not, the council have said themselves they could use influence is if the legals are dropped so there is influence there.

Is the most important thing for city fans having a club and somewhere to play or getting the legal action dropped? I'm really starting to wonder with some people.

That whole article about things in the past though?

I've said over and over that there should be action against anybody who can directly get a deal done and those who can also have influence. That obviously includes sisu.

There are then people who are completely against / pressure action against wasps and the council. That doesnt stack up.

Nobody seems to pay much attention to how comfortable duggins is. That's because of articles like this.

Of course people should be fuming with sisu, that's not what I'm questioning or saying they shouldn't. I'm questioning how it makes other parties ok to bullshit and get away with it.

It was one of the reasons for the Haskell MK2 thread, the silence is deafening in certain directions which makes me think there's more to it.

Wasps told SISU a year ago
This is the last lease renewal if you continue with your court actions
This was made public and Boddy has acknowledged this.
I like Boddy and think he has CCFC very best interests at heart. His hands, however, are tied as we all know.
The only people to put pressure on is Seppala and co.
I am not sure who else can influence Wasps at this late stage.

What do you suggest is done that hasn't already been tried that will make Seppala suddenly drop the legal action?

You seem to have ruled out putting any pressure at all on Wasps even though they have shown themselves to be very sensitive to negative PR. Why do you feel putting pressure on them, something that has never been done before, has zero chance of success?

A perfect example of how just taking things other parties say at face value is going on way too much.

Can't pressure wasps because they said something? They have all said things so pressure them all.

Again, is it about ccfc and somewhere to play or getting the legals dropped?

Read the thread. You seem to be consistently struggling to do it. Why?

It's a simple question. Have things been missed out, yes or no?

It has nothing to do with being partisan. I am as partisan about CCFC as anybody. I have been to over 1,500 games and sung my heart out. I shout at referees and linesman and sulk when we lose.
This is about facts and that our owners have dragged us into a complete mess through there own actions.

You are the one struggling to make a decent fist of arguing your corner. I have made my thoughts clear in this thread but you can't seem find a way to do anything but make sweeping and unsubstantiated claims or accusations about me playing dumb or not failing to follow the argument.

I'm not struggling with anything because I've made a point. You don't read threads then jump in clearly showing this.

Have selected things been missed out, yes or no?

Unsubstantiated? I guess you haven't read the article then either?

As I've said, read the thread because I've pointed a couple of things out already.

Strange isn't it, it's as if you can't actually make points but just jump in to push certain things.

Not sure it helps anyone. It's just an opinion of history. It will have no effect on wasps or Sisu or efl

Probably winds a few fans up for a time but it won't last. It doesn't provide any solution other than stop the legals. We would all like to see that wouldn't we irrespective of rights to take such action.

Most people outside this forum are not distracted by it because it is an expression in their eyes of what they already believe

Shouldn’t we all be angry at SISU? Yes others have played their part and I agree it isn’t balanced but written from a fans perspective who wants SISU out. Let’s face it it’s no different to reading the guardian or mail etc you will get a biased viewpoint to push their agenda

Of course, however it doesn't mean that because of that there shouldn't be anger at the others.

That's what has allowed let's to get away with things also.

I don’t think we will ever get to the bottom of the ‘truth’. We can all have a view on what’s right and who did what but there is so much more to all of this that we aren’t privy too sadly

I've given a couple of examples, they no good for you or not fit the agenda?

Do you think things have been missed out or not?

Strange dart won't answer either isn't it?

As I said, what's behind it? Something will be and it will come out as it always does.

People go on about apologists, sorry to say when people are saying the council are being honest and they shouldn't have any pressure that's the very definition

There surely can't be many with the same take as that fella.

First time I have ever heard 'honest, fair and clear' in this saga, but then as Ricky Gervais said, they still have to put a label on a bottle of bleach saying 'do not drink', so who knows.

People seem to be liking it, including Jimmy Hill Way....

Yet again, it seems that if you say anybody else bullshits they think you exclude SISU from that. It really is weird.

Has any single party been honest and clear through it all? It was only the other week the council leader got caught out bullshitting.

People throw the word "apologist" round but it is pretty obvious in that example.

Again, they have all just read an article excluding things. Of course they think they were fair and honest.

Which is exactly the point I'm making about the reasoning for articles like this....

People read through, don't even realise bits are missed out and then claim the council have been honest and through it.

Which baffles me as to why people are so scared about any sort of pressure against them if it means a chance of their club being saved...

Only Wasps and SISU can make the deal, others around have some sort of clout and influence.

Why not pressure them all if the aim is a deal? That's why I think for some that isn't the main thing in all of this.

Exactly.

The way it's playing out it's to make sure there's no pressure on any other parties. Why's that?

People are obsessing more about the legal action than they are about having somewhere to play and a club to support. Why's that? Is it a coincidence that these people don't watch the club play in Coventry themselves anyway?

It's got them all fired up.

Maybe one day people will see my point when everybody is too busy wanking over the council and their PR and still getting away with anything they want.

This is exactly why it's done.
