pretty good tbh.

We surely will do enough to stay up won't we?

Do you want it? Really want it? Second half again they looked like they did again.

You just cannot knock these players for lack of effort/commitment - they were chasing every ball and lost cause - some immense shifts put in today particularly our very own Plattini - what a heart and desire surely the signing of the season and the most improved player on the books.

And our last 9 home games is W6 D2 L1 (dodgy last minute and dodgy ref v Ipswich). A pretty decent run for the positiion we're in and why I think that as a form team we can escape this. Our kids are no longer kids and our experienced players are getting fitter, stronger and starting to perform and lead. It might only be one result today but I'm really buoyant over it.

To be honest Paxman i did'nt think we looked that bad first half,Connor being replaced by bigi was a surprise as i expected Cyrus to come on and play right midfield, but it was a game changer, two clean sheets in a week also, and went totally gungho at Cardiff to back up your sixth sense:D

We have to continue this effort.

It isn't over yet and i am sure there will be some further twists along the way.

At least the players get a rest now until next weekend. Will give Platt some more time in the pool :pimp:

A surprise for me too. I thought he woudl go more experienced and expected Thomas off but thought he would replace him with Deegan so wp AT.

Thomas had to come off. For me Bigi was the obvious choice to come on.

Read it again Otis :) The surprise for him was not who was changed but who he changed him for ;)

Not so sure. I'm worried we are not getting fitter and stronger, but are getting less fit and weaker. Players are now playing with knocks and injuries because we have no-one else and the squad is so small. i am worried that the likes of Nimely could do with a rest and so too Platt, who has been carrying an injury for some time.

We are getting stronger as a team in terms of results and performances for sure, but I think the playing staff could be starting to suffer and I'm worried about the lack of fresh legs come the Easter programme.

Yeah Otis the surprise that he utilised Bigi was purely tha t he had'nt been involved for so long but thoroughly justified his inclusion

Inclined to agree with you there. Platt looked knackered at the end and Nimely, in my opinion, had a bit of an off day today. Lacked energy. It might be for the reasons you said - I'm hoping it was just the heat!

Anyone know about Hussey? Was having a decent game, got up and down the wing well.

If Bigi asked to be withdrawn for a few months, chances are he told AT he was ready to go back in the mix this week.

I'd imagine Thorn asked you first anyway?

I was praying it was to be Bigi. So glad it was. It was the correct decision.
