Godiva Festival organisers dubbed Saturday as 'unreal' as crowds flocked to War Memorial Park. Sunshine provided the perfect backdrop to yesterday's event as it saw dozens of acts, from well-known names to local talent, take to the stage.Clean Bandit headlined last night (July 5) and followed sets from the likes of Young T & Bugsey brought as well as the city's treasured icon Neville Staple. During his set on the main stage, DJ Nathen Dawe paid a special tribute to the tragic Liverpool player. An image of the winger was shown on the screens as he played his song 'If Heaven Had a Phone Line'. Crowds wrapped their arms around each other as the dance song filled the air across the park.Unreal Godiva Festival 2025Today is the final day of Godiva Festival 2025 with Ocean Colour Scene set to bring the festival to an end later today. While heavy rain is set to soak our area this morning, those heading along may not need their brollies as the local forecast has said it is set to become drier from midday.
