Yay! All part of our plan to take him out the game, get him to miss the rest of the season and then us snap him up in the summer.

Well done City.

Not quick enough getting the shots off?

Telegraphing the shot too far in advance?

Not very good?

Yes I know, it's pretty effective in the lower leagues.

Thing is, with their wing backs they have 5 at the back.

It realistically leaves their 3 centre halves on Tudgay and their wing backs on Murphy and Jones. Will be very hard to break them down.

Said on another thread I'd love to play against Murphy or Maddison. Just absolutely hammer them in the first tackle, they are out of the game then for the rest of it.

It was obvious when the team was announced it would be some variation of 433, Vincelot was never gonna play the number 10 role.

To be fair the official said he was playing the more advanced role.

Bigi steps up to take a free kick. No, that is not a lie. He hits the wall with a weak first attempt with his right foot then shoots well wide with his second attempt with his left. Why was he even near the dead ball?

Phillips finds Jones who puts Over a decent ball, Vincelot dives towards it but defender gets there first

He always fights for them, remember he was stood arguing for about 30 seconds. Took it and absolutely skied it!

It's hardly surprising that we are where we are when the likes of 'Bigi' and Carl Baker are lauded as good players.

When Jones gets 1v1 he's dangerous. Has quick feet. Phillips must see if he gets up with him then they can't afford 2 markers on him

And our strikers and other attackers need to keep up with him and fill the box.

Pointless if Tudgay is marked by 3 defenders.

Jones finds Tudgay who gets into the box but can't cross to anyone considering he's the main striker yet he's putting in the cross

Gillingham need the result more than us technically- as many have said we are all but out of the play off race- they still need to pick up points, especially at home- so the longer we keep it at 0-0 the better. Hope they commit more men forwards as they become desperate then hit them on the counter, with armstrong off the bench
