Getting into away games without physical ticket (1 Viewer)

On my way to Hillsborough now from Manchester. My Dad is heading to the game from Cov, he has both of our tickets but has now missed his connecting train and won’t get to Sheffield until 12:20 ffs. Anyone know if I’ll be able to still get in the stadium before he arrives or if I’ll have to wait for him

You could try the ticket office and see if they’ll duplicate one of them.

You should be fine mate. You can also get into Oasis gigs if you say your dad's on the train with your tickets

It very much depends on the ticket office. Assuming they use barcodes & scanners it’s technically very easy to cancel one ticket and reissue a new one.

Will be entirely down to how cooperative they want to be. Can’t be the first time they’ve had someone turn up without their ticket.

Had to wait outside for 15 mins, with a load of other folk, as apparently our tickets in block 3 had been cancelled! Now queuing up for a pint of sodding Carling in the one kiosk open. Good times!

Yep. I gave a ticket to a guy Millwall game. They have scanners the same as ours at Hillsborough. A photo worked at Millwall.
