I’ve been shouted down on here before that robins forward signings have been poor since he came back. I mean who on earth would have signed players such Vincenti or bakayoko is beyond belief. Are we saying that there isnt a forward in non league that isent better than bakayoko?

McNulty, 29 goals got us promotion. Chaplin, 500k profit in 10 months. Biamou, non league, would have cost very little, 2 goals in play off semi, Hiwula, 12 goals last season (yes jury still out on him and perhaps Godden). Only one I can think of who has failed up to now is Bakayoko. Vincent Wasn’t played as a striker here. Kastaneer has been poor so far apart from his 15 mins against Doncaster when he actually showed what he could do, plus the wonder goal against Bristol Rovers. Too early to write him off.

I believe Bakayoko was a panic buy when it didn’t look like we were going to get Chaplin.

I haven't seen much of Kastaneer, but what I have seen is unconvincing. Even his fluked wonder goal.

Looked slow and clumsy at MK, when he came on. Slow of brain as much as body. Not sure where you would play him
Some of our transfer business for this season looking increasingly iffy

Good: Dabo (I'm a late convert), Rose, Marosi
Jury's out: Allen* (unfortunately), Jobello, Godden,
Poor: Kastenaar (one strike excepted)

Good job the loans are ok
* Allen did look sharp at Swindon pre-season, altho he is a bit similar to O'Hara.

Eating correctly and regular exercise you can lose 3/4 pounds a week if done correctly. It looks to me kastaneer is making no effort to control his weight and he trains two hours a day!

that's a 10,500-14,000 calories deficit a week. or 1,500-2,000 a day.

Maybe if he's eating 3 pears a day

Yes you can lose 3/4 pounds a week simple. If you keep below 1,500 calories a day.

Problem for Kastaneer is the fact he doesn't seem fit enough to be anything more than a 20 minute impact sub. As a result he is never improving his actual match sharpness and when he comes on it has been when we need a goals and our shape starts falling apart so he ends up in no man's land and I honestly don't know where he was supposed to be playing when he came on because it all became a bit of desperation in the hope of getting a goal.

So, in short, he's capable of being stupid and frustrating for 30 minutes, and then he disappears up his own arse!
