We did offer, he hasn't actually turned it down but also not signed it. Now there is so much interest from above I doubt he ever will. We just need to get as much money up front as we can from wherever he goes to reinvest in the team now. As he's under 24 clubs have to pay compensation to us even though he's out of contract. Possible but I suspect his agent would advise him not to, as it would up the asking price for him and thus make a transfer less likely as the pice would go up).
