Just checked the sentencing guidelines to see if the judge had decided to make an example of him by giving the maximum sentence. Seems the maximum sentence is, rather shockingly, life imprisonment!The guy caught pissing has been jailed.

I can’t say I’m surprised. Not because I think he deserves a jail sentence (personally I think a fine would have been more than reasonable) but because the government has looked weak on racism so want a headline. I think that's been missed. There are a fair few cases of groups of blm people crowding around stamping on other people.

That's the thing, it needs consistency.TBH he probably hadn't even seen the memorial. Jail I thought was very harsh - fine would've done. If he got jailed for that gonna be a lot of new inmates from the past week or so.
