I think that’s the plan

Labour are a lot more anti-SNP than under Miliband TBF. I’d expect them to do what they say and dare the smaller parties to vote down a Queens Speech and enable Brexit. I’d also expect a government running like that to last just long enough to run a second referendum then fall apart. Doubt it’ll happen though. Looking more like a Tory majority.

Corbyn clearly also would be compromised as he’d have to form an unholy alliance with the very untrustworthy Sturgeon - a dangerous Marxist who wants to indulge in train wreck policies and will demand a big pay cheque for her loyalty. He’d need the Welsh nationalists as well

Are you saying a blithering idiot with dodgy links to Russia and the far right with a history of making homophobic and racist comments is a good PM? Did you look at Italy under Berlisconi and get jealous?

The real car crash aspect of the Corbyn interview was his staggering ineptitude regarding payments for the WASPI women,

Corbyn didn’t know the levels of reserves and had no plan whatsoever to find the £60 billion. Even the Guardian can’t defend this nonsense. It’s typical Corbyn as with students. Offer a bribe then rob someone else afterwards to fund it.

Yep. Johnson is useless and untrustworthy and likely compromised. Even if he’s not his entire habit is just saying whatever the person in front of him wants to hear, which when we are about to enter loads of important negotiations is very dangerous. We’ve already seen him capitulate to the EU for political expediency.

Corbyn is just useless. Shadow cabinets are pretty much even, back benches are far stronger for Labour.

Tories are a bunch of phone salesmen out of their depth.

Agree with regard to labour back benches. There’s some decent MPs on there and probably stronger than those in the shadow cabinet.

I’ll expand a bit.

My main issue is climate change. The Tories are basically denying it and kicking it into the long grass rather than using it as an opportunity to lead the world and grow the economy.

Outside of that I believe in public services. I believe in public ownership of natural monopolies and free access to education. I could go into depth on why but the fact is I do.

Labour under Corbyn is the only one close to tackling the issues I care about.

I really wish we could see the likes of Miliband, Benn, Phillips, Cooper and Kendall instead of Richard Fucking Burgeon and Rebecca Wrong-Daily

Thing is you say the irony and all this.... why would i possibly want to vote for someone who would negotiate a new deal and then remain neutral in the referendum??? It doesn't show a leader that is confident in his new deal

As you’ll learn when you grow up, a leader doesn’t pick sides when the people under them are split 50:50.

We should have the option to Brexit without destroying our economy. As a soft Remainer I might even vote for it as it’ll meet the referendum result and not turn us into a shit hole like Johnson’s “plans” (such as they exist).

We need to come together and move on as a country. No deal or near as damnit will likely lead to the issue carrying on and is going back in on shit terms.

I'm not saying Boris is without his faults, fuck me he's made an arse of himself on too many occasions, but I cant ever recall him actively courting terrorists. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

The irony is, that more working class people are in employment under the Tories than there were under labour.
I'm no fan of Johnson, I've been a union member for over 30 years, and worked on factory shop floors for over 37 years, but I cant continue to vote labour under Corbyn's leadership.

either are actually a threat, that’s a ridiculous accusation. But both have history with less than savoury regimes. Boris is just as likely to be compromised, if not more considering his personal life and the circles he runs in.

If the movement to Labour continues at the rate it did during polling, which covered a period including the Conservative manifesto launch and the Chief Rabbi's anti-semitism comments, the result would be a hung parliament. That would pretty much mirror what happened over the last election campaign.

Conservatives have started to adjust which seats they are targeting now as their internal polling is showing the gap tightening. They're putting more money than they planned to into seats they already occupy.

For the first time in my life I will not be voting, which is pretty depressing to be honest.

if I was presented with an option of Lobster, Squid or Octopus I wouldn’t force myself to eat one. I would decline to eat.

I’ve never really understood the argument of people died so you could vote. I assume they died for the right of self determination which includes the right to elect not to vote

The only encouragement I’ve had so far in this truly dire campaign is that I’ve seen all leaders openly laughed at when they drone out their scripted answers. This would never have happened in the past. Michael Foot was derided by the press but actually was a hugely respected figure in and out of politics. Even empty heads like Kinnock and Major suddenly seem like political giants

Now we have lazy Z list celebrities who cannot even be bothered to remember facts let alone care about the issues. They know they are untouchable so can’t be bothered

On the radio this morning, the general view of the "experts" was both Boris and Jezza are making pledges on spending that they can't make without something giving - ie. putting taxes up or reigning in the spending.

To be honest, I don't know who to believe in the honesty stakes. Seems a case of who's telling the least porkies.

It's the same deal that was first offered by the EU. May's comments at the time were "The draft legal text the Commission have published would, if implemented, undermine the UK common market and threaten the constitutional integrity of the UK by creating a customs and regulatory border down the Irish Sea, and no UK Prime Minster could ever agree to it. I will be making it crystal clear to [European Commission] President Juncker and others that we will never do so”

Johnson himself voted against an improved WA. But then again he is on video stating a desire to stay in the single market, as we all know what he says he wants changes depending on who he is talking to.
