I laugh every time someone mentions the fridge then I remember this is supposed to be our leader who is going to stand up to the likes of Putin and Trump.

Lets face it. If half the stuff happening now was in the Thick Of It people who have stopped watching and said it had gone too far!

Should be fine. Don't think anyone has predicted anything other than a Conservative win from the start of the thread so unless something unprecedented happens we all know exactly what's coming.

The most reliable poll out there, so much for the late labour resurgence

I wouldn't be to sure on that claim. The exit polls are always the one's I go on.

The Piers Moron 'fridge' debacle must of hurt Johnson today and there's really no way to measure this. Done at the most ideal time as well.

I haven't followed the entire thread but I've seen a fair few posters disagreeing that it'll be a Tory majority at least rallying against one anyway.

It's horrible to say but the best thing for myself is a hung Parliament.

I wouldn't want any of them running the country.

Consensus from all sides may be the way to reign in the lunatic fringe of all parties.

Or is it that as some have relayed on here? Some people have been working all their lives & have built up a nice, modest or even small pension to see them into their looming retirement, or may even already be there. They fear that their pension is easy-picking for Labour policy funding...are they simply not caring? Or putting themselves and their family first? Should that approach be criticised?

All about choices & how the choices on offer affect our priorities as individuals.

It will be interesting to see how the older vote goes today and if turnout will be down on this.

It's been a while since we last had a vote this time of year. With a lot of Tory votes being from the older persuasion this could have some affect on the result.

Was among the first at the polling station today. Didn’t spoil the ballot.

Why will it be a nightmare? Explain briefly without using any silly soundbites and with some examples of what will go wrong

Who? I’ve been reading all the way through and everyone’s said it’s a Tory majority other than Ian sometimes doing some wishful thinking

From the first few pages of the thread and from someone who claimed he always knew it would be a Tory landslide.

chiefdave said:
I don't think we will get a clear winner either. Polls don't really take into account the voting system. Translating that poll lead into additional seats might not be straightforward.
