First day of campaigning is going well then

Have the Tories actually put forward any kind of vision for Britain other than “undo all that shit we did in the last decade”?

I’m raising a point... hardly what I’d call having a go.

And the reason why I read your comments is because you do have worthwhile things to say. But you infuriate me because you seem obsessed with the notion of ‘personality politics’ - especially with Corbyn. I had you down as someone that could see through it.

I will champion my viewpoint of course, but at least mine is clear.

Mine is clear. Not one of the leaders of the parties is fit to run our country. I am not happy with any of them at all.

Of course it is all about personalities. It gives you a clue how they would do their job. Their personalities say they are all a liability.

Fair enough - that’s your opinion on the leaders. I don’t share your view about Corbyn.

Personality does not reflect leadership ability IMO. You only have to look at CCFC managers to tell you that.

They’ve forced an election they have little chance of gaining a majority from.

Depends if you want to make a General Election as a one topic item.

If it is true and they are successful with this manifesto then they won't look daft and visa versa.

It really depends on what the electorate wants out of this General Election, not what the each party puts forward in their manifesto.

He Dithers. He doesn't hold an audience well. He is not very decisive. He has no charisma.

The Labour Candidate for Coventry South has been announced.

No, I don't know who she is or her knowledge or connection to the City she wishes to represent.

Usage of the A45 through Coventry on the way to Birmingham is not a valid reason to say you know Coventry.

To be fair if I had a free pass for proposing bollocks policies I'd put the least thought into it too

If ever you wanted a reason to vote for Corbyn and not Johnson, you only have to listen to Trump, who thinks Farage and Boris are great and that Corbyn would be very bad for the country.

Seems Trump is inadvertently recruiting people to the Labour party campaign.

You see my point guys? Where are Gilbert's tweets regarding the selection of candidates for the other parties throughout Cov & Warks? He's so Labour-centric it's embarrassing for a BBC employee!

Maybe the clue is in 'the Labour party candidate has been announced' and they have only just been announced and the others haven't been announced yet, or are the same MP's as previous.

Id wish Labour lost just to shake up the local party a bit. But the Tories Lib Dem’s and Greens locally are just as bad if not worse. Cov politics is very poor.

Hes actually quite good on the stump. Far better than the alternatives were during the leadership campaigns. He’s also done a better job at Johnson than holding his party together and sticking to a compromise position of Brexit.

He’s terrible in Parliament and on TV, gets irritable, stumbles. Also has let his team get away with murder and is far too loyal to people who have been in the trenches with him in the past. Though the anti-semitism thing is massively overblown he hasn’t handled that well either. His foreign policy positions are quite naive. I also don’t agree with some of the nationalisation plans or their plans to remove anonymity online. I left Labour last time over poor digital policy, but the Tories are even worse here with the porn pass and snoopers charter crap.

I see Trump is pretending to not like Boris’ deal in an attempt to make out that Boris won’t be his lap dog and Boris is playing along by defending a deal he never really wanted to get.

More Tory (reporter) economic incompetence. For reference the entire U.K. economy is about £2.3 trillion

And even so its not as if the average billionaire has their money sat in a standard current account or post office. They already keep their money offshore
