So where is the common sense in Labour? Spending hundreds of billions on projects that can't be delivered in the timescale given or even the budget given?

Sounds a bit like HS2 and Crossrail! And not building any so called affordable homes.

Someone forgot to tell Johnson that there's camera's in the LBC studio. Possibly not the best idea to gesture to the interviewer to cut the caller off.

Is anyone really going to believe the story they've concocted that he was imitating an interaction between the producer and presenter?!?

Watched the beginning of it and no wonder Boris won’t be interviewed by Andrew Neil, if Nick Ferrari can tear him a new A hole Neil will murder him. Another car crash for Boris, not that it will bother his cult followers. He kept looking to his left as well as if someone was directing him, he looked lost and in need of rescue. The Timpsons line from Ferrari was funny.

Why the fuck have we got the PMs Dad fronting for him?

Can anyone even name a previous PMs Dad let alone remember them running interference for them so they can hide?

We are going to get eaten alive in trade negotiations over the next five years.

I listened to Jonathan Bartley on 5Live this morning and I thought he was impressive.

Didn't catch it all, but he came across well I thought and didn't duck a question.

He was asked directly if he would ban Halal meat and he said he would straight out.

I don't think any other party leader would be so unequivocal in their answer, or even give an answer at all.. . well, maybe Farage possibly.

It was refreshing to hear a politician answer questions without changing the subject, or beating about the Bush.

Says you firstly. Secondly.

Everything. You. Say. Applies. To. Both. Parties.

Both are incompetent. Both have radical plans. Both have massive uncosted spending plans.

Politics is fucked. We still have to pick a direction for the country, now more than ever. You can sit and cry about it or you can put your big boy pants on and pick the least turdy sandwich.

And out of us two which one is crying?

Not me. You won't find a single post where I have tried defending anyone.

Look back if you have a lot of spare time. I have been saying all along they are both shite. But the vast majority of the shite on here is the defending of Corbyn and Labour yet attacking the Tories and all by the same people.

Ironically, he proved his point, as none of the presenters at the biased broadcasting corporation could spell Pinocchio.

Are you surprised?

We have an absolute idiot as PM. So he will think idiotic ideas are good ideas.

I know he’s Boris’ dad and it’s his job to defend his son but surely he’s not amazed that people are allowed to call him a liar, even he must know that Boris has worked very hard to earn the right to be called a liar by anyone because he’s an exposed serial liar. Best thing Stanley can do is disappear for the rest of the election if he wants to help his son.

It shows how bad they are when they both have an idea costing a lot of billions that won't make much difference to most people. If they jist sat back and thought about it these many, many billions could make a big difference to those who need help.

Would never happen with me. I have a dad who actually thinks there is a bloke sitting behind a desk somewhere, called Mr. Internet.

He truly asked me to ring him at some point, when his washing machine wasn't delivered on time.

James O’Brien backs up their story TBF and he’s hardly a Boris fan.

My point exactly. Throwing public money at vanity projects for short term political gain rather than a long term sustainable approach

Do you really think policy wonks don’t exist? You may disagree but there’s plenty of reasoning behind most of these projects (except Brexit)

They do exist look at the classic left wing imbecile and his 80 page dossier of drivel on the Labour policy to scrap IHT

Your presuming there Shmmeee,
Never use a presumption as the basis for an argument or debate!
Stick to facts as it’s proven over time that facts are 127% accurate.

It doesn't matter what they say or how much they insult the cap doffers. They'll still tug their forelock and know their place.
An embarrassment to working class people everywhere.

"It's not right that people have to sell their homes to pay for social care"
What he means by that is that they should be selling them to pay for insulin, dialysis and chemotherapy, and we will be once he's flogged the NHS

Brexit was voted for precisely because political projects are failing.

My former 28 year old analyst earning £47,000 would instantly - you as ever it’s a classic fail

Pound for pound it’s the best climate change defence we’ve got. I couldn’t give a shiny shite how people feel. We’ll need legislation. Those who are about the feels will be denying it anyway. The biggest problem the climate movement has is lack of action, it doesn’t need years deciding the perfect solution it needs action on multiple fronts because that’s how the human race surmounts it’s problems: lots of people being innovative until something works.

On a personal note I think protection of the oceans is a better climate change defence. I also think moss has a surprising role to play - sucks up a lot of pollutants and moisture compared to most grasses and plants.

I think arguing over what’s “best” is why we haven’t made any progress. Haven’t seen the details of ocean protection or large scale moss growing, but if it’s possible, sure do that as well.
