Dont worry everyone, Those chinese guy's Hoffman was talking to in Costa's are still going to buy the club. They have joined forces with Mr Wanda,Cyril's boss and the indian guy that knocked Kev Monks' door trying to find the Ricoh. Together they will save the club and have us back where we belong...... Operation Premiership!!!

valiant would prefer liquadation than promotion with sisu

Do you honestly think the track record of selling quality and signing shite on extra contracts promotion is on any lips of SISU..

God forbid,, mate you can have SISU when they crawl back to mayfair, leaving you with no club to support... SISU cannot blame anyone else for mismanagement of this club... They signed, they made decision that have brought us to this point, respect your right to have an opinion but 100% do not agree..

Is anyone really shocked we are talking about this today,, this has been coming since they walked in the door...

I've heard they've been talking to group which include a Mr. Wensleydale, a Mr. Stilton, a Mr. Double-Gloucester and a Mr. Philadelphia, but none of them are in charge and the guy heading up the bid is a Mr. Cheddar, who is the big cheese.

Hoffman is keeping quiet and waiting 'til the dust settles. He was shafted by the previous Chairman. Any future negotiations will be conducted away from the public eye and possibly after the demise of Fisher. Wait and see.

I really hope that both of you are right. I hate this Sisu lot with a passion. How can they carry on trading? Their reputation must be in tatters.

Has the prince become a lump of cheese now?

I wonder that if Hoffman was playing the same game as SISU, would the pitchfork bearers be highly critical of him as well? I can imagine that he would be being applauded as wanting the best for the club and sticking up for us. No doubt we would also be reminded of what an astute and hard-nosed businessman he is, and that he certainly takes no prisoners.

Anyone taking over the club would also be seeking a reduction in rent in line with what SISU are after. Would they still be shafting the tax payers of Coventry?

He's always been there waiting for the inevitable.

Why would they spend a fortune buying something that is worthless when they can wait, aquire it for next to nothing and then invest what is necessary
to take the club forward with an exit strategy guaranteeing them a return on their investment.

Total business sense and more importantly, a fan who also does'nt want the club to go out of business.

You contradict yourself. Of course he does, he will get it cheap for HIS faceless investors.

Even if by some miracle, and the world's longest takeover ever happened, what would happen when Hoffman's investors ran out of money? They would also have to drive down costs as well, therefore they too would be looking for a reduction on the stadium rental, something which it seems does not sit well with some people. It is pretty obvious that he would be lauded for this and the anger would be directed at ACL & the council.

What makes Hoffman's faceless investors any different to SISU? We won't know who they are, they certainly wouldn't be doing it for the love of the club either. Like SISU they would be out to make money, and I doubt that they would have the billions that a lot of people like to think. There is certainly no way that they would consider paying £1.2m to rent the Ricoh, so would it be ok if Hoffman & et al wanted to reduce the amount of rent?
