I remember being told that being owned by SISU would have a positive effect on the club that went wellEverything will be fine Nick, I don't know why everyone's getting so het up. The council promised that selling to Wasps wouldn't have a negative effect on the club, remember.

This was what I was thinking, slightly ironic when the council were quick to vote the sale but now we must save the club. Trying to get votes methinks....Everything will be fine Nick, I don't know why everyone's getting so het up. SISU couldn't build a sand castleMPs posturing to no effect. They've done similar debates on this topic before and they proved pointless.
Unless SISU & Wasps talk or (less likely) SISU build a ground the situation remains the same.
Raises the issue but in truth raises the issue to those who are interested already. So it achieves what exactly? Yes it looks like the MP's are doing something but how does it help resolve things
I really do not see how raising the issue in Parliament forces Wasps or SISU to change their positions. It is a private arrangement. Most people on the outside will look at it, not know the back ground and conclude Wasps asking for legals to be dropped is reasonable - then move swiftly onwards. So not sure how damaging it will be for Wasps. Equally SISU can portray to investors how strong they can be in standing up for investors.
Just looks like more window dressing to me - but apparently I am quite cynical
That's exactly what it achieves.it looks like the MP's are doing something
Westminster Hall debate isn't exactly top box office. It isn't a debate in the Commons/Lords. And fed up of telling folk about the uselessness of using EDMs as a measure of support. There are thousands of them and most amount to less than zero.
Yes, I'd pay good money to watch Sepalla get a grilling in ParliamentTypical comments on the article, I don't think any of them care about the club as long as sisu get a kicking.

Look on twitter and the CT site. Things like this announcement today are celebrated as SISU getting their due except, even if the football club ceased to exist, it would have at best minimal impact. Not sure where you get the idea that there are people excited about this fuck up.
What safety net is that then?We may be grateful then for the Coventry United safety net.
Suggestions of a ground share with Coventry RFC at Butts Park Arena never got out of the starting blocks after land leaseholder Chris Millerchip said plans for developing the site did not include CCFC. That stance was repeated by Mr Millerchip when asked again by the Telegraph this week.
Will he be asked to explain and also reconsider? Or is it only the Ricoh they want to keep propping up?
He does not want to deal with SISU. In this case it's a good thing as that ground and area is just to small.
I just wonder what any spat between CCFC and SISU has to do with someone who lives in America?
