I'm pretty sure I ever preached about what other people should or shouldn't do Nick. In fact, I do recall posting that people shouldn't be telling other people what to do with their money. I've no problem if people want to go to St Andrews or those that went to Sixfields (there are people in my extended family who have done both - we've not fallen out over it). I've never called anyone a scab or a judas, although I'm aware language like that was being used (and probably still is).

Yep, you got me. But as you're fond of pointing out, context is important. The hashtag here was around the Bid that Hoffman had put in - fewer season ticket sales might have made the bid from him more financially compelling. Didn't work.

There are too many people that have lost interest in rational debate, and because it's the internet take all the filters off and behave incredibly poorly.

You've apologised for what went on with G, he accepted, and as far as I can see that should have been an end to it - but no, we're back again having a childish pile on.

Nick, if you didn't want to continue the row this would probably have wound down by now, but you seem determined to niggle away at it using what I'd consider unnecessarily offensive terminology. Your choice mate, but it's not going to get much respect from me, sorry.

Anyway, I've got a ton of work to get on with, and nothing else to really add, so time to get on (or flounce off depending on your perspective)!).

I have just used rational debate and managed to point out he was talking nonsense. At least he should stand by what he says rather than having to make u turns constantly.

Maybe the rational debates can be on the football threads, on the football site? I'm all for that.

We seem to have this discussion every so often, usually after people mention the trust.

Christ a new low for this forum, it’s playground stuff. I suggest you all sort out your priorities out and stop squabbling with people you don’t know and are never likely to meet. We all have different opinions, deal with it and stop resulting to childish insults. Seems some aren’t capable of having a civilised debate.

But surely the more attention you give these accounts, the more effective they are. I’m just at the point now where I can’t be arsed to involve myself in any of this nonsense anymore, these people aren’t worth wasting my time on. It’s not worth the hassle, I’ll have a face to face debate with anyone but when it comes to the internet you just can’t win. 9 times out of 10 it results in petty insults, or you’re banging your head against a wall arguing with council propaganda accounts or Sisu stooges.

I agree with you, they are completely serious issues that should be dealt with, no one should face abuse or threats for their views.
