We should all take Sky Blue & White Wreaths and lay them at the council house if nothing is done today. Id imagine they would get pretty pissed off with them piling up in the door way and steps!!!

Would really ram home the message to the council that we see the blood on their hands as well as the other parties involved

Agree they need to know they can't just make things up as well.

Not sure about wreaths though, the florists would end up with littering fines.

Something that wouldn't need much effort would be a few people, maskes made of Joy, Tim, Lucas, Duggins and Eastwood with face blood on their hands. Little banner, "If CCFC die these people will forever have blood on their hands"

I was thinking the wreaths as it would undoubted generate some media coverage

Impractical given the time constraints, but really like the idea.

I meant it as if there is no solution today then we have from today to the EFL's meeting to do it. Plenty of time to make this happen IMHO

Rather than wreaths that can be a higher cost what about bunches of flowers? We’re not playing on Saturday so how about we turn up en masse then? We would be playing on that day if the organisation in that building hadn’t sold the ground.

Duggins will being the Royal hotel old church road on Saturday from 115 til 200 for his monthly surgery. Why not deliver them in person?

Bunches of flowers on the council house steps. Sounds like a plan to me

Well I'm game. Booked the day off in anticipation of a Wasps protest , and I need something to keep me away from the visiting in-laws...

You'd need a fair number to commit mind you to make it worthwhile. Three or four is all a bit redundant.

Would be great if anyone who's a City fan whilst in town on Saturday just drops by and places some flowers/flags/scarfs etc down there. I think it could really carry the message home

Anybody want to hire a couple of actors to stand sobbing in funeral gear for a few hours?

Anyone who he supposedly represents in should attend and make their feelings known.

We could get 20 just from here I'm sure I could get a few to turn up.
Not going if there is only 4 again will just get abuse and laughed at.

Whats the point of doing it on a Saturday when no bugger is there?

Surely better when they are all there? For instance when there's a council meeting taking place?

More chance of people being able to turn up, if it's a weekend! Otherwise you may well get four.

And at least there's a visible marker people have been. Means even if they can't stay for hours, they can pass by and show their commitment. You'd probably want to do it earlier in the day than a 3pm kick-off time mind you, just so shoppers / students actually notice!

Well, give me somewhere to be, and I'll be there - but only if I'm not alone or in a group of half a dozen!

I suppose 3pm on a Saturday would be symbolic as it’s the traditional kick off time. Loads of flowers getting put down is sure to stir up some interest.

£5 says people think a kid got run over outside the council house

Would make more sense to protest at the Wasps game. Maybe raise some interest among their non-Cov fans.

The council protest needs to coincide with actual councillors being there. We’re tryig to reach specific people, not get media attention. The media knows what’s going on and are all round useless.

No if (like I said earlier) there were also Coventry flags, Scarfs etc put there as well. Also along side a few well placed tweets to the right media outlets there would be no doubt and a big impact.

Whens the next council meeting? That would probably be the best bet.

Then all into the public gallery to open the meeting with the Sky Blue Song.

If I see Ann Lucas, I'm going to hang a sky blue reef round her neck, or get Nigel to do it instead.

Is that Tuesday 12th March? Cabinet meeting at 2pm. Same day as Fleetwood home game. If it is, I'm game to get there early and do whatever. Anybody else concur with interpretation of date/time?

Don’t think I’ve ever been in the council house so no idea how many can attend but they’re definitely open to the public.
The Cabinet meets every month and Cabinet Members hold individual meetings throughout the year. All these meetings are held in public.

Obviously I’m 100% in to doing anything that involves taking the fight straight to the council. I think the idea of laying flowers, flags etc would have had a huge impact and not been deemed as hostil. My only fear is if we go inside we may lose the impact, but will happily change the plan to go with the majority

The thing with the flowers and something outside, it needs to get people talking I guess.

Look at the advertising board by the Ricoh. "Who's behind it?", it got people discussing it and was bit of a mystery people were talking about.

How much would it cost to get CCFC in sky blue?
