His choice. His stock for desirable future moves will rise based on positive performances. Even if we fail to go up, good form could get him a lucrative move elsewhere.

He could sit on his arse for the rest of the season collecting a good wage, but he wants to play football and it looks like for us. That's the sort of player I want to see coming in.

This is a recent thing, early on in the season Lampard wasn't shutting up shop as such but he did make changes to tighten us up in games. I've no idea why he has stopped doing that.

That's why it's all the more frustrating. We know it's in his locker to see games and be proactive about adjusting our setup.
