Clickbait headline. The article says:

"Coventry surely set to win Onyeka race and further Birmingham’s woes

They are surely set to be an attractive option to players, like Onyeka, who are struggling for Premier League minutes right now.

It certainly would not be a shock to see them beat Birmingham to his signature this month, with Davies’ side having won just one of their last eight league games."

Saddlebrains said UK based CM and that he'd been told he was a good player. That's about it i think. He was supposed to be doing some investigating.

Just that he said Torp like and a perm and this is neither but then it is Saddle

Fiorentina now linked too (by some random site)

Not sure I can see this one happening - if it's a perm I'm not sure how we compete on wages?

Unless maybe it is a loan with obligation on promotion and higher wages agreed then.

Hot a mate who lives in Florence. I'll get him to tell the player it is shite and overrated.

Fiorentina, great club as they are, currently aren't in a great position. They've got a real survival fight on their hands to stay in Serie A. Currently in the bottom 3. Might not be as attractive as it looks at first glance.

Thinking logically, the guy said his dream was to play for Man UTD recently. His best chance at that right now is hunkering down in England, playing for a club that will almost certainly be in the Premier League next season. Honestly not too far fetched of a dream given the current state of things, remember when UTD signed Ighalo?

so in conclusion, all that we need is...

• cover for Grimes who's as good as him
• a destroyer good enough for an autos side
• attacking midfield competition for Rudoni

Dean and Doug - no pressure fellas! 😂

Build a time machine, kidnap Bryan Robson. Sorted. 😁

Serious question. Who would we drop to play him? Grimes, Torp or Rudoni? Eccles can cover at least two of those and Esse and Asante at least one.

I see him as an Allen upgrade but he barely starts

You play Torp in games we expect to dominate and Onyeka in tougher games

Looking at him he seems a bit different from Torp or Grimes. What we miss is someone who can come on, even at half time, and grab a game by the scruff of the neck and change the game's direction. We do not have that person and Hamer is not that style, but maybe this guy is. When you see what Kante did when he was at Leicester and then Chelsea. I think Doyle was a bit like this as was Wise but they aren't around anymore.
