This guy has also played a good amount of games in both the Prem and the Bundesliga, this isn't some dud that can't get a game for a French league relegation candidate like the generic Birmingham signing, there is decent pedigree there. He has some fantastic defensive attributes. He is a totally different profile to both Eccles and Allen.If we just need someone with poor technique to run around a lot we have Eccles and Allen right there. We need challenge for Torp.

Torp is unlikely to be fit for the entirity of the rest of the season.So as I say we’d lose all that Torp offers. We have seen all season this system work. It seems silly to spend £8m to rip it up now.

He said earlier he hadn'tThe longer this one drags on, it makes me wonder if we have any legitimate interest or if it’s agent talk considering our position.

This allows us a defensive option in midfield when defending leads to, allowing Grimes and Onyeka to play as a double pivot.
