Fair comment, but I remain puzzled by Lampard's insistence in playing Eccles so far forward. Having him alongside Grimes could have been an effective way of tightening us up when we went through that rocky period, especially away from home.

Onyeka is not only one of those players who breaks up play at the expense of a niggly little foul at the occasional expense of a booking, but he seems also to be able to make up ground quickly and win the ball. Just recently he has also shown he has some skill in his tool chest and has also started shooting which is more than we bargained for. A great bit of business.
