I know the Brentford fans think he can't pass but I don't think that is the end of the world.
He needs to keep reasonably close to Eccles or Grimes and just play a short, simple pass when he wins possession.
If he signs, and it looks like he will, FL has to be brave and be prepare to change the system even at half time if it's not working. Ideally we could do with a classy CB who can come on and switch to a back 3 if needed. Yes we need the players to stand up and be counted but also Frank L needs to also. If teams are reading us and marking Grimes out the game because we are playing his normal system we need him to change it, and not for the last 10-15 minutes, we need to change it as soon as we see it.

Personally I would. Not because I think Grimes is suddenly terrible, I just think fatigue has properly set in and he needs a proper rest for a few games. I'd have Onyeka slightly deeper than Eccles, with Rudoni ahead of them, but telling him not to float out to the wings. Having Torp and Grimes to come off the bench if needed aren't bad options.Do you put him in for Grimes you think? Or for Eccles/Torp?
