They burnt their bridges with the club during the whole Wasps council shenanigans.

Yes there is new ownership now, wasps dead etc, but even Doug who had nothing to do with it apparently thinks they're charlatans, which is fair enough. They give the telegraph the bare minimum now. The odd interview with staff once a year is about as far as it goes
I think it’s got a lot more to do with the Telegraph’s parent company being in dire financial trouble at a time when the club’s own media team has more resources and more ability to spread its message than ever before.

"Stamenic"ed again!?

Also looking at the rest of his 2stories" he doesn't seem to do much apart from repost other stories for interactions and cash from his blue tick.

Seems a pretty easy gig, post story, that teams fans interact by retweeting or commenting then at the end of the month Elon pays you some cash.

Yep its over. He's probably in Spain

Although somewhere in denial about it, this is what I posted this morning:

It looks as if he may be off to Valencia. This was posted earlier today:

Of course, it could be complete nonsense but then we do have form when it comes to other clubs pipping us at the post for a player.

There is no certainty that he will go to Valencia but there's no denying that they are a bigger club than us who can afford a larger transfer fee and higher wages. The warmer weather might be a temptation as well.

Ignoring that the man himself said he’d rather stay in England, Valencia are in a relegation battle, we’re in a promotion battle. If we succeed he plays in the Prem, if they succeed he plays in La Liga. If either fail he goes back to Brentford or is then in the Segunda.

Horses for courses.

As has been said they can't afford bigger wages or a bigger fee.

There is also no actual new stories that have linked him with them that dome from any kind of credible source.

The person earlier who said you are gagging for this to fall through was spot on it seems.

For anyone interested the 2024 "additional finance" was a debt restructure that kicked a can which is 300m to 500m in debt down the road a bit.
