Lampard keeps reminding us that we have players who are stepping up from the Championship. We put in a fair show during some periods but against club that has a squad valued at £700mil+ it's always going to be challenge.
Overall disappointment is with all that Spurs looked a poorer team than Newcastle, but in both games with only 30% possession its always going to be a battle and we cannot sustain that week in week out in this league.

Lampard has to take responsibility for this. His tactics of a low block seemed to be ok to start but he should have changed it when we equalized. we needed more legs cos Grimes was stuffed and Yerenkyi was on a card, Milan was getting done and JDS also, should have swapped KKH for Milan, Mfuni for JDS, Torp and Onyeka in the middle. I'd have given Simms the Cherif role after last week, but what was KKH for Rudoni, Frank???? very wierd. We could have beaten these fuckers last night.
