My watch alarmed around the 30 min mark today as my pulse was at 120 while sitting! My head was saying whatever happens -good season, obviously my heart was saying something totally different.

Both mine and my sons hit 123 after the first goal. I find that i get more emotional these days, whereas in the past the passion came out in shouts, cheers and curses. Yesterday at the end of the game I felt completely drained. It has been an emotional roller coaster this year with the usual poor start, sacking of MR and then appointment of FL. The brilliant run we went on felt surreal, this isn't what Coventry do, then normal service resumed at Derby and the following games. I did expect us to beat Middlesbrough but I'm not sure that we can go all the way. I may need to get some tranquillisers if we make it to Wembley

Same sentiments for me. I’m 45 and have been going for 35 years. I live 100 miles away now but still have a ST with my boy. I think the whole narrative about getting back to the PL and how the whole club is focussed on that goal just intensifies everything. Every single point dropped throughout the season could prove crucial and I find those instances really hard to stomach now.
I started taking my son in the L2 season. What a journey since then. He’s 14 now and absolutely desperate for us to get promoted. The heartbreak of the Luton final and then Man U just adds to that burning desire to finally achieve the goal.
I’m not ashamed to say that I was extremely emotional when the 2nd went in yesterday. Actual tears. The relief was overwhelming and seeing his face was just something that took me away.
The noise in the CBS, the sight of that ground like that, I just wanted to drink it in and remember it forever.
I know there’s still a long way to go but bloody hell we’ve come a long way so far haven't we?!
This is without doubt my favourite time to be a city fan in my life.
