Further proof that the longer into the game you go, the more it loses its mind
Thanks to the bungling development of the new game allowing me to carry on with this one, after winning everything and now this there's only an unbeaten season left to do. Great days at James Maddison Stadium (conferences and functions are held in the Marcus hall)

I gave in and bought a new laptop, primarily for FM. I used to think my processing speed wasn't too bad, but even a mid-range modern laptop is insanely quick nowadays. Barely even a pause between days now. Revolutionised my FM experience.

Agreed, as I remember it being very slow indeed back in the day, zooms like a goodun now!
My one bugging thing is the match and why my players KEEP SHOOTING LONG! ffs annoying af....
anyone got any tips for my players not too? perhaps if I tick the "be more disciplined" box? but then I enjoy my players to have a little more freedom!

Sports Interactive regret to inform that, following extensive internal discussion and careful consideration with SEGA, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Football Manager 25 and shift our focus to the next release.
If they'd released it in an half-arsed state it would have been badly received, especially given the backlash around the mock-up of the interface they'd previously revealed. I'm still a little worried they might be dumbing it down, which for a statto like me would be a game killer, but at least the extra time should mean it's more developed and rounded.

I’ve got a create a club save going where Im 5 years in and just got to the VNL and sat fighting for the title with Southend UtdNow on club number 6 in my FM 24 save & I'm only in 2027 ffs- sacked as Hertford boss after 8 games & now South Liverpool have hired me

I can't recommend downloading the level 15,(I think it is),lower league database highly enough - so many obscure random teams along with the proper regional cups etc

I'm currently in my third season. had a surprising challenge back in the 1st season back in the premier league. I was 3rd playing 2nd Place Man Utd, whilst Man city were at home to someone else. All 3 could win the league. we beat United - however Man City won their game meaning i missed out on final game.
the current season - I'm 11th in the CL league phase and leading the premier league by 3 points. I'm about 17 games in. signed Nelson Weiper but hes currently out for 3 months.....
