I know loads of us have emailed the Football League expressing our concerns and got the "standard reply" about the Golden Share being with CCFC Ltd when it went into Administration. What's the betting any decision will be postponed until they get Paul Appleton's report ? In any event, lets all hope our emails struck home ! SISU out !

They emailed me this reply today:

Dan,

Thank you for your email.

It is not possible for The Football League to pre-judge the outcome of any administration process. All matters will be considered by the Board in due course.

The League is not commenting on any further matter at this time.

Thank you for contacting The Football League.

Regards,

I'd be very surprised if we have any outcome before Christmas. Portsmouth took ages, over a year, and that was a "simple" takeover, their only problem was a price of their stadium.

I think you may be in for a surprise . I've said from the start sisu are looking for a way out They'll have plenty of options after friday.i can see a sisu/new buyer partnership . It's not the outcome we want but its a start.

I think that you are getting a little confused between reality and the mad paranoid ramblings on here.

What evidence is there that he is involved with sisu?

Short term deal with sisu to keep us at the ricoh.? I was a bit worried after reading the points of the meeting with fisher last night but after reading it again there's too many contradictions.too many ifs.anyway why would they have spoke to Hoffman before about selling? they're in an even worse position now than they were then.

That's actually a reasonable response. As said before, this kind of contact will help the FL focus the mind and hopefully there will be some feedback regarding the amount of emails they have received.

Also the real reason why the bidding process was extended was maybe to give sisu more time to work out their exit strategy.sometimes we forget the facts.fisher is not running the club anymore the administrator is.he says if the club is up for sale which it will be.

I think Portsmouth was a bit more than that. Didn't the administrator have to go to court to force a sale at a fair price from the previous owner.

Hopefully that is exactly what will happen here if Appleton's got the balls to put Joy and Timmy in court for a forced sale!

if, any of this is factual,
then a rational human being could only despair at the lengths the owners will go,
i wonder whether their anonymous investors would react positively to their antics,
further,
if factual,
then the full weight of the law should fall upon those responsible,
& not THE FANS

The only way this will move quickly is if someone offers SISU an amount they are happy to accept to walk away. You still then have the issue of the incoming owner agreeing terms with ACL or making a deal with the council to buy the stadium, although those could be put on the back burner and a 1 season agreement used.

With Portsmouth the former owner was actually someone who had loaded the club, under a previous owner, money and had ended up taking ownership when there was a default on the loan. The big issue was that there was a charge over the ground (similar to the Arvo charge I guess) and the administrator had to get court approval to sell at a price that would be lower than that charge.
